Lara Trump says her show will center on ‘personal side’ of Trump administration

Former Republican National Committee co-Chairwoman Lara Trump said her new show on Fox News will be a “long-form” introduction to the people behind the White House.

Trump, 42, appeared Wednesday on Jesse Watters Primetime ahead of her own show’s premiere on Saturday. My View with Lara Trump will air at 9 p.m. on Saturday.

“I think it’s different than anything we have on Fox News right now,” Trump said. “It’s a longer-format interview. You will actually get to know the people behind the names that we see in the headlines every day and on television every day, the people who are making the big changes in our country. A lot of them will be part of the administration. But across the board, I want to give the viewers an insight into the personal side of a lot of these people in the agencies and what’s going on inside.”

Trump said her father-in-law, President Donald Trump, “assured me he will come on the show.”

My View with Lara Trump is replacing Fox News host Brian Kilmeade’s hour slot. Trump will focus on a “return of common sense” and “big picture analysis,” according to a press release from Fox News. One Nation with Brian Kilmeade will move to the 10 p.m. slot on Sundays, according to a statement provided to the Washington Examiner.

LARA TRUMP TO HOST WEEKEND PRIME-TIME SHOW ON FOX NEWS

Trump became a regular fixture on the network ahead of the 2024 election. After November, she stepped down from the RNC, expressing that her goal was to work for a single election cycle.

The RNC has not replaced her former position, so Michael Whatley is the sole chairman. Since Trump’s departure, it has hired Mike Ambrosini as its chief of staff and Rob Secaur as its political director.
