President Donald Trump is speaking at a Black History Month event on Thursday.

He is due to begin speaking at 3 p.m.

The event will be held in the East Room of the White House. It had been rescheduled due to inclement weather, resulting in it coinciding with his one-month anniversary of taking office.

A person familiar with the scheduling of the event told Politico that the president isn’t expected to sign any executive orders at the event.

While black Americans are among the demographics that have supported Trump the least, he made massive inroads with black male voters in 2024, doubling their share of the vote from 2020.
