MSNBC May Be Canceling Joy Reid, But Leftists Can’t Quit Crazy
The article discusses the cancellation of Joy reid’s show on MSNBC, attributing her departure to the network’s declining viewership and a broader effort to reshape its programming under new leadership. Reid, described as a controversial figure due to her leftist views and provocative statements, was criticized for contributing to the network’s struggle to attract advertisers. Her exit represents a significant shift for MSNBC, wich has reportedly been losing audiences to competitors like Fox News.
The piece also touches on a controversial proposal by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, who seeks to replace customary terms such as “mother” and “father” with gender-neutral alternatives like “inseminated person.” This initiative has been met with backlash from various political figures, who argue it undermines the importance of motherhood. The article frames both developments as reflective of broader trends within leftist politics, highlighting criticisms of identity politics and potentially unpopular policies that may risk electoral consequences.
The author, Matt Kittle, emphasizes the perceived absurdity of these policies and actions in the current political landscape.
If November’s election taught us anything it’s that crazy sells for only so long. So goes the tale of MSNBC left-wing nut Joy Reid, who suddenly finds herself standing next to DEI-promoting federal bureaucrats in the unemployment line.
Reid, who has disgraced the low-IQ cable airwaves for what seems like a century, is set this week to say adieu to the news network that loathed America enough to give this walking lawsuit a nightly forum. In short, the high priestess of cancel culture is being canceled.
“The ad execs and the board finally figured out that racism, lies, and Trump derangement syndrome will put them out of business,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., wrote Sunday on X.
Good morning!!

“Sources familiar with the matter” tell CNN (and many other corporate news outlets) that Reid’s departure is all part of a “major programming shakeup” led by Rebecca Kutler, MSNBC’s new president charged with righting the leftist network’s faltering ship.
Said sources say the lunatic fringe weeknight show that was “The ReidOut” will be replaced by something else, hosted by the slightly less Marxist cohosts of MSNBC’s “The Weekend.” That delightful program features former GOP chairman Michael “To Hell With Republicans” Steele and his band of merry Trump haters.
Reid’s exit follows years of cringe-packed rants and reports of ever-declining ratings at a cable news network that has long had its meatless lunch handed to it by Fox News Chanel. MSNBC’s new owner, the aptly named SpinCo, has apparently seen enough of Reid’s kind of crazy.
But if we’ve learned anything about the left since Donald Trump began his second presidential term, it’s that it just can’t quit crazy.
‘Inseminated Person’
Take Wisconsin’s far-left Gov. Tony Evers (there are plenty of Badger Staters wishing you would), who wants to change the word “mother” to “inseminated person.”
Milwaukee conservative talk show host Dan O’Donnell first tweeted out the latest round of gender-expunging silliness that Wisconsin has come to expect from the DEI-worshipping two-term Democrat. Evers’ executive budget bill includes a section that would remove terms in state documents such as wife, mother, father and husband and replace them with gender-neutral terms, including spouse, person, and inseminated person.
Nothing expresses the heartfelt sentiments for that special someone who gave us life like a “Happy Inseminated Persons Day” greeting card. And who could forget that old Waylon Jennings/Willie Nelson country classic imploring inseminated persons not to let their babies (or nonaborted clump of cells) grow up to be cowboys?
The governor’s pandering to his LGBTQ base earned quick condemnation from lawmakers, political commentators, even a Hall of Fame quarterback for Wisconsin’s beloved NFL franchise, the Green Bay Packers.
“Nonsense,” Packers legendary QB Brett Favre wrote on a post noting the inseminated person proposal.
“As a proud mother of two, it is absolutely insulting that the Governor, in his 2025-27 budget bill, would reduce me and millions of other mothers across Wisconsin to ‘inseminated persons,’” wrote state Rep. Amanda Nedweski, R-Pleasant Prairie, in a statement last week breaking the news. “It is not only deeply offensive, but it is an outright attack on the very essence of motherhood. It is unconscionable that the Governor has the audacity to take the most beautiful, life-giving act a woman can perform — bringing children into this world — and turn it into nothing more than gender-neutral, virtue-signaling jargon to appease his far-left base.”
Evers, a former science teacher who demanded Wisconsinites “follow the science” during Covid, could use a “refresher on basic biology,” Nedweski said.
“Last I checked, only one gender is capable of giving birth — women. Anyone who says otherwise is denying science,” the lawmaker added.
You can bet Tony Evers never forgot his loving inseminated person on Inseminated Persons Day.
‘Our Society is Lost’
It’s more of the same from an identity politics-practicing leftist who who apparently has failed to take no for an answer from voters in a swing state that helped return Trump to the White House. Those voters in no small part rejected the kind of leftist “nonsense” that they’ve seen from leftists like Evers — considered by Wisconsin conservatives to be the Joe Biden of the Badger State.
“Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’ latest left-wing push isn’t just out of touch, it’s offensive to mothers,” said Republican Governors Association executive director Sara Craig in a statement from the RGA. “If Tony Evers can reduce motherhood to an ‘inseminated person’ then our society is lost.”
Evers’ whopping $119 billion biennial budget plan would cause a real cash deficit of $4 billion by the end of the 2029 fiscal year, according to Republican lawmakers who will once again rebuild Evers’ budget plan from the ground up. The proposal raises taxes by some $2.4 billion, as well. But God forbid the term “mother” or “husband” survive in Tony Evers’ delusional DEI utopia.
It’s the kind of election-losing policy that even Joy Reid’s inseminated person might think crazy.
