If Maxine Waters Was A Republican, She Would Have Been Impeached Decades Ago

For decades, when violence has erupted in our streets, Maxine Maters can often be found lurking in the shadows.

In the midst of the L.A riots in 1992, she led a chant of “no justice, no peace,” describing the widespread rioting as a “rebellion,” saying, “If you call it a riot it sounds like it was just a bunch of crazy people who went out and did bad things for no reason. I maintain it was somewhat understandable, if not acceptable.”

Responding to Korean-owned stores which were looted by black residents, she defended the looters, saying “There were mothers who took this as an opportunity to take some milk, to take some bread, to take some shoes… They are not crooks.” During the L.A. riots, thousands of Korean-owned stores were looted or burned, amounting to 45 percent of all damage caused during the riot.

In June 2018, Maxine Waters again appeared to incite and justify violence against political opponents, in this case members of the Trump administration.

“If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them,” Waters told a crowd of supporters at a Los Angeles rally in June 2018. “And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

During that same speech, Waters also stated that Trump “tried to step on all of us, we kicked him in his rear and we stepped on him,” and continued to threaten the Trump administration, saying, “If you think we’re around you now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Waters’ statements preceded an increase in public aggression (usually toward conservatives), arguably culminating in the violence which exploded in 2020 in the form of Black Lives Matter protests and riots.

Most recently, Waters appeared to preemptively incite violence in response to the upcoming result of the Derek Chauvin trial.

“Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said on Saturday night that if Derek Chauvin is not found guilty of murder for the death of George Floyd that activists must ‘get more confrontational’ on ‘the street’ because the activists need to ‘make sure that they know we mean business,’” reported The Daily Wire.

“We’re looking for a guilty verdict. We’re looking for a guilty verdict. And we’re looking to see if all of this [inaudible] that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd,” Waters said. “If nothing does not happen, then we know, that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice, but I am very hopefully and I hope that we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”

If Maxine Waters was a Republican, she would be — correctly — condemned by every layer of the Leftist apparatus. For decades, she has aligned herself with contentious and volatile situations and fueled violence as a political platform.

Donald Trump was impeached for “inciting violence,” despite his call for “peaceful” protest. The fact that Waters continues to remain in the House of Representatives — despite her decades-long history of shameless and hungry incitement of violence — shows just how little the Democrats truly care about violence.

Like Maxine Waters, the Democratic Party doesn’t care about the victims of the violence they arguably fuel. For them, violence is simply another route to power.

A route they know all too well.
