Report: Illegal border crossings on the way to hitting 1M by the end of July

New border numbers have projected more than 1 million illegal crossings during the first seven months of this year. Reports said 188,000 border encounters were likely seen over the month of June.
This shows an 80 percent increase from June 2019 and a 469 percent increase over 2020. So far this year, there have been nearly 712,000 illegal immigrants encountered by Customs and Border Protection at the border.
In June 2021, CBP encountered 188,829 persons attempting entry along the Southwest Border. This total represented a 5% increase over May 2021.

The last time 1 million stops were recorded at the border was in December of 2006. According to a Trump spokesperson, the Biden administration was handed the most secure border in history and has systematically gave it away to drug cartels and open border radicals.
