A Few Contradictions In The Twisted Liberal Mind
Liberal inconsistencies are not hard to find. There are even social media accounts out there with hundreds of thousands of followers whose sole purpose is to show off liberal tweets from different dates that contradict each other. Here are a few liberal inconsistencies that speak volumes.
Capitalism is bad. Companies, please donate.
There are lots of haters out there whining about capitalism with their iPhone 13 Pro in one hand and an expensive coffee in the other. But this is one of my favorite examples.
Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza spoke to a gathering of Marxists in Maine in 2019. “We’re talking about changing how we’ve organized this country … I believe we all have work to do to keep dismantling the organizing principle of this society.” She then went on to say, “Power is very much about deciding who gets to make decisions and who doesn’t. Power is about deciding where resources go and where they don’t go, and why.” In her speech, she equated capitalism with racism.
Black Lives Matter is Marxist. No one is surprised. But the organization raised $90 million in 2020 alone. Here are just a few companies that supported BLM in 2021: Cisco, DocuSign, DoorDash, Etsy, Grubhub, IBM, Microsoft, Peloton, Reddit, Shopify, Uber, Comcast, Slack, Paypal, I could go on. No doubt those companies benefit from a capitalistic society when they sell products and services.
But it gets worse. The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation bought a $6 million California mansion and an $8 million mansion in Toronto. And BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors bought several other mansions worth millions in 2021. That sounds pretty capitalistic to me. A few get filthy rich and the masses stay suppressed. Is that what Garza meant by, “Power is about deciding where resources go and where they don’t?” What about poor urban communities in this country that could’ve seriously used that money? Black lives matter.
We want equality! It’s time for women’s rights! “Another man wins women’s event.”
No one argues that equality isn’t important. Women should be given the same opportunities as men in the corporate world. (Though business owners should be able to hire whomever they want based on their company’s needs.) And no one argues that sexual harassment, like the Harvey Weinstein abuses that spurred the #MeToo movement, should not be exposed.
But there’s been a feminist movement on the tails of #MeToo that has tried to silence men altogether. Gillette’s “toxic masculinity” ad is an example of a company caving to that garbage.
So, how do these “all men are pigs” feminists feel about trans athletes? “They shout, ‘Women first,” while also watching a dude who claims to be a lady win gold in national collegiate swimming. This could be sicker than we think. I think they seriously believe he’s a woman. Otherwise, where’s their outcry?
Guns kill children! Why have we not outlawed them? Abortion should be legal even outside the womb.
We all know that guns don’t kill children. Or deer. People kill using guns, and if every good guy in America had one, there’d be far less crime. Because the bad guys will always have them.
School shootings are terrifying. When they happen, the left shouts “gun control!” But again, the best gun control is putting guns in the hands of good people and training them on how to use them. Why not arm principals and a few select teachers? Of course, many schools have a police presence. The point is that all of us from the far left to the far right want our children protected.
But what about unborn children? Abortion kills people before they even get a chance to be born. It takes the life of the most vulnerable. It’s one of the most hideous crimes perpetrated on humanity.
And the sick liberal (insert your favorite colorful descriptive word here) at The California Assembly Health Committee voted 11-3 on April 19 to advance legislation that legal experts warn could effectively legalize infanticide. Right to Life League vice president of legal affairs Susan Arnall argued that “a mother, her boyfriend or, for that matter, the babysitter, can starve or beat or shake a three-week-old baby to death and no one can investigate because under [the bill] it is a ‘perinatal death.’”
So, which children matter?
My body, my choice! Shame the unvaccinated!
Abortion advocates have screamed for years that it’s their body, so they should have the right to choose to kill their baby. (Though, the baby didn’t have a choice about his or her body.) So, what about all this shaming of people who haven’t been vaccinated. Aaron Rogers was hammered for his choice to not get the COVID-19 vaccine last fall. Those who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine have choices when it comes to their bodies too. And if you’ve been vaccinated for COVID-19, then you should be good, right? Wrong! They’ll make you take a booster, too.
We’ve got to combat climate change! We’ll take the private jet.
John Kerry and Mike Bloomberg have both flown private jets to climate change events. Outspoken climate change activist Leonardo DiCaprio has too, and he’s also received criticism for his massive yacht. I have no problem with them having or using these things. Just don’t preach that others shouldn’t have them while you do.
Don’t build a wall! Let those poor immigrants in! Just not Cubans.
They screamed their bloody little heads off at Trump for wanting to build a wall and protect our country. So, why do the Democrats want to close the door to Cubans? Florida. They’re scared Cuban immigrants will vote red.
These exhausted men and women tasted the horrors of communism already after all. Obama won only 35% of the Cuban-American vote in 2008 and that’s the best a Democrat’s ever done. I say we close the door to the terrorists and criminals pouring through the Texas border and help Cuban refugees enter this country legally through the system.
The immigration system needs a makeover for sure.
