Meanwhile, Time magazine reported that Kessler died “after getting into a confrontation during dueling protests over the Israel-Hamas war.” They failed to mention who struck Kessler, only stating that he “fell backward and struck his head on the ground.”
The New York Times referred to the events leading to Kessler’s death as an “altercation at dueling protests.”
