Country star sings anthem at Trump event – tragedy strikes
A Rising Country Star Sang the National Anthem at a Trump Event – Then Something Terrible Happened
A young, up-and-coming country singer discovered firsthand just how harsh the leftist cancel culture can be, despite liberals claiming it doesn’t exist. Carly Tefft, a new country singer, proudly performed the national anthem at a Donald Trump rally in New Hampshire. However, she soon found herself facing the consequences as liberals rose up to cancel her from the music industry.
Tefft, who has performed the nation’s song at various venues, big and small, including the Boston Marathon, Fenway Park, and TD Garden, was shocked when a venue she had worked with for seven years suddenly told her she was no longer welcome. The cancel culture had come for Carly.
During an interview with Boston’s radio host Howie Carr, Tefft expressed her disbelief at being banned from her work for the first time. She had always believed that singing at a rally for a former president of the United States would be a prestigious opportunity to bring people together through the National Anthem.
However, just five days after her performance, the cancel culture came calling for her. The manager of the Harvest Gallery, a venue she had previously sung at, described her performance as “controversial” and claimed that his customers would feel threatened if she were to sing there. He even went as far as asking her if she was a Trump supporter, to which she responded that she supports God, not politics.
Unfortunately, the Harvest Gallery was not the only example of the cancel culture Tefft faced. After announcing her Trump rally appearance, she discovered that she was also canceled by Facebook, despite her page having no political content.
Despite these challenges, Tefft is determined to push ahead with her music career. She recently released a new song called “Freedom in this Country,” which carries a powerful message of standing up and being the change we want to see in our society.
“Feel like I should re-release this tune…what do y’all think?” – Carly Tefft
Tefft’s experience has taught her an important lesson about the Democratic Party and its radical, left-wing supporters. She now sees the hate-filled nature of liberals and how they launch all-out war against anyone associated with Trump or Republican values. The cancel culture seeks to destroy those who don’t align with their extreme left views, putting their education, jobs, and ability to engage in civil society at risk. It’s a dangerous path that stifles differing opinions and undermines the principles of a free society.
