After “Too Many” Drinks Tyson Fury Tries to Kick Taxi That Refused to Drive Him

Tyson Fury, nominally retired from boxing, had “too many” drinks with his father John while on vacation in Cannes, and tried to kick a taxi for refusing him service.

Video shows a wobbly Fury — accompanied by his dad and other friends — attempt to get into a locked cab.

The taxi driver refused service to Fury and attempted to drive away.

Fury then tried to kick at the back of the cab, before getting restrained by his friends and father.

In a video published to Fury’s Instagram stories on Thursday, he and his dad are out for run as his dad admits: “too many we had last night.” Fury then says, “strong beer, though.” His dad replies, “Strong beer. Strongest I’ve had.”

Fury, 33, knocked out Dillian Whyte in the sixth round at Wembley Stadium in London last month to reach 32-0-1 in his career. After the fight, Fury said he is retiring.

Since then, Fury has been living it up, and sharing his good times on social media.

Earlier this week, Fury posted a video of himself and a number of acquaintances partying on a yacht, captioning that he was “with the fam & people I care about, the people I started with now enjoying the south of France.”

He also shared a night out with his wife, Paris, captioning another video, “1 good girl is worth a thousand Bitches.”

It remains to be seen if Fury will accomplish what is a rarity in combat sports — to stay retired after finishing on top — but for now he seems to be enjoying the fruits of his labor.
