The company also received numerous reports of injuries associated with the product, including traumatic brain injury, concussion, paralysis, fractures, and ligament damage.
Owners of Onewheel skateboards, including all models such as Onewheel+, Onewheel Pint, and Onewheel GT, are advised to immediately stop using them. The model name can be found on the side of the skateboard.
However, Future Motion has advised users of Onewheel GT, Onewheel Pint X, Onewheel Pint, and Onewheel+ XR models to download or update their Onewheel app to ensure it has the “haptic buzz” alert function.
The Onewheel (original) and Onewheel+ models are not eligible for this update and should not be used. Owners of these models can receive a $100 credit towards the purchase of a new one.
