Pope Francis criticizes ‘dog moms’. Amen!

Pope Francis Tells “Dog Moms” They’re Not Real Moms

Attention all “dog moms”: Pope Francis, the Vicar of Christ, has a message for you. Spoiling your pet and treating them like a child does not make you a mother.

While canines have been domesticated for 30,000 years, it has become a trend in the West for women to take excessive pride in spoiling their pets and even calling themselves “moms.” However, the pope is not having it.

During a conversation with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Francis shared two anecdotes to explain how Europe’s dwindling birthrates are impacting the continent. In one instance, a woman brought a dog in a stroller to be blessed by a priest. In another, a woman in her 50s asked the pope to bless her “child” in a bag, which turned out to be a little dog.

Francis, who is known for his short temper, scolded the woman, saying, “Madam, so many children are hungry, and you with this little dog!”

It’s Time to Have Kids, Not Pets

The pope’s message is clear: have kids, not pets. While some may argue that pets bring joy and companionship, the reality is that millions of children around the world are going hungry while Westerners spend thousands on their pets each year.

So, to all the “dog moms” out there, it’s time to rethink your priorities and focus on what really matters. Let’s prioritize the well-being of our children and future generations.

  • Don’t treat your pet like a child
  • Recognize the importance of having children
  • Support organizations that help feed hungry children

Let’s take the pope’s message to heart and make a positive impact on the world.
