Steele gained attention in 2021 when she appeared on Jay Cutler’s podcast and criticized ESPN’s COVID vaccine mandate. She also expressed support for Candace Owens. Her comments led to a brief suspension and subsequent lawsuit against ESPN. The network stated that they value different points of view but expect respectful expression in line with their policies.
As Steele embarks on her next chapter, many are eager to see what she will do next and continue to support her in exercising her first amendment rights.
