But that’s not all. When independent and‌ third-party⁢ candidates Robert⁤ Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Jill⁢ Stein are⁣ added to‍ the⁢ mix, Trump’s lead over Biden expands nationally to ⁤43-37%.

What’s even more ‍intriguing is that numerous polls⁢ have shown Trump gaining momentum among young voters. Emerson College, in particular, conducted an‌ oversampling of voters under the age of 30 and found‍ that Biden only held a 5% lead over Trump. Specifically, among voters aged 18-29,‌ Biden leads Trump 45-40%.⁢ However, when we separate ‍these voters‌ into two distinct groups, Trump actually leads Biden 44-42% among voters‍ aged 25-29. ⁣Biden, on ‍the other hand, outpaces Trump 48-35%.

But here’s the twist. Emerson also surveyed 182 voters under the age of 30‌ who did not ⁢participate in the 2020 election. Surprisingly, 43% of this group now backs Trump⁤ for the 2024 election, while 21% still support Biden.

The poll⁢ also shed light on⁣ the top concerns of young voters.‌ It revealed that 44% of voters under the ⁤age of 30 listed the economy as the most ‍pressing issue facing the country ⁢today, followed by healthcare⁢ at 14%.

“Voters under 30 were also asked what concerns them most in an open-ended response,” the poll findings read. “The top words mentioned were ‘inflation’ (94⁤ mentions), ‘economy’ (71 mentions),⁢ and ⁣‘money’‍ (49 mentions); the words ‘worried’ or ‘concerned’ were mentioned 67 times. No other phrase was mentioned‍ more⁢ than 29 times.”

According to the‍ polling average from RealClearPolitics, Trump currently leads Biden by 2.1% nationally.
