Google, against free speech, to give $100M to NY Times.
Google to Pay Millions to Promote The New York Times’s Leftist Content
Get ready to have The New York Times’s leftist propaganda shoved down your throat, courtesy of Google. The tech giant’s parent company, Alphabet, is reportedly funneling around $100 million to The Times over three years to promote its content on Google platforms.
Boosting The Times’s Profits
The deal is expected to boost The Times’s profits amid uncertainty in the news industry. Earlier this year, The Times saw a revenue increase of 11.3 percent compared to the previous year, raking in $2.3 billion in revenue in 2022. In exchange for the payout, The Times will allow Google editors to promote its content on the Google News Showcase platform.
Lack of Transparency
Both The Times and Google have declined to comment on the details of their partnership, with a Google spokesperson stating, “We don’t share the details of commercial agreements with partners.” This lack of transparency should come as no surprise, given Google’s history of censoring Republicans and suppressing conservative content.

News Corp Also Partners with Google News Showcase
