Amid worries ⁢about the current president’s age,⁤ mental acuity, and general⁤ cognitive‍ abilities,⁢ Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) backed Joe Biden, calling him “one of the most successful presidents in modern American history.”

AOC praised Biden’s ⁣accomplishments during ⁤his ‍time ⁢in office, pointing ‍out that he helped pass the American Rescue Plan and the ⁣Inflation Reduction Act.

“I know who I’m going to choose [for president]: It’s⁢ going to be one of the most ⁤successful presidents in modern American history,” Ocasio-Cortez said to CNN on Tuesday. “[He] passed the inflation ‌reduction that got us ⁢the American Rescue Plan that ensured that we could pass one of the largest federal investments in climate change in U.S. history.”

Following ‌the revelation that Biden’s memory was “significantly limited” in a recent special counsel report, GOP⁢ critics of the president, as ⁢well‍ as many Democrat⁣ voters, have questioned ⁢his mental capacity for some time now.

According to the special counsel report, the current president presented‍ himself⁣ as “a‌ sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly⁢ man with a poor memory,” which would reportedly make it difficult⁣ for jurors to find him‌ guilty, Hur claimed.

Nonetheless, AOC dismissed the criticism of Biden’s ‍age as a valid ‌worry,⁤ noting that the‌ Republican front-runner for president, 77-year-old former President Donald Trump, is not that much ⁣younger than Biden, who is 81.

“I think right now, ⁣when it comes to the president’s age, folks are talking about how he’s 81,” the Democrat congresswoman said. “But ⁣we have to look at‌ the fact that, first of all, Donald Trump is around the same age. They could have gone to high school⁣ together. And beyond that, Donald Trump ‌has 91 indictments.”

However, Biden’s detractors have consistently pointed out that, despite‌ the fact that Trump is ‌not significantly younger than⁢ Biden, the former‌ GOP president‌ appears to have far⁤ superior mental acuity in comparison to Biden, he’s much ⁣more eloquent, and Trump does not make significant gaffes like Biden does continuously.

The most recent example of this occurred during President Biden’s address to ‍the nation after Special Counsel Robert Hur released‍ his report. After Hur explained that he‍ saw Biden as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Biden spoke to the country to try and prove that his age and ⁤memory⁣ are not an issue for⁤ him. However, ironically,‌ Biden went on to⁤ confuse the presidents of Mexico and ⁢Egypt, and he ⁣maintained a promise to serve all people “whether⁢ they‌ were from a red state or a ‍green state,” seemingly forgetting ‍that the Democrat party⁣ is represented by the color blue.

A few moments‌ later, ⁤during the same address, Biden became visibly furious and even yelled‍ at⁢ a CNN reporter after she questioned his age and mental fitness. His outburst was reminiscent of⁣ what older individuals⁢ typically ⁤experience during early-onset dementia.

Additionally, Dr.⁤ Marty ‍Makary of Johns Hopkins University expressed his belief on Fox News that ⁤“Biden is exhibiting signs of ‘age-related ‌dementia’‌ that will likely continue over the next four years.”

Nevertheless, AOC has ignored the opinions of notable, ⁣credible ⁤doctors and American voters ⁣in general by doubling down on her support of Biden.

“There’s already been a primary [where] voters have outright rejected Dean Phillips,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “President Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, and hopefully, he’ll be reelected as president of‍ the United‌ States.”

How does Ocasio-Cortez respond to critics who raise concerns about Biden’s mental capacity ⁢and ‌fitness for leadership?

Rep.‍ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has voiced her ⁢support⁤ for Joe Biden, despite concerns over his age ⁢and mental acuity. In a recent interview with CNN, Ocasio-Cortez praised Biden as “one of⁤ the most ⁣successful presidents in modern American history.”

Ocasio-Cortez‌ highlighted Biden’s achievements during his time in office, particularly his ‍role in passing the American⁢ Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act.‍ She ‌emphasized the importance of these policies in addressing key issues such as climate change and providing economic relief.

Critics of Biden, both within the GOP and among Democrat voters, have raised concerns about his mental capacity. A recent special counsel report mentioned that Biden’s memory was “significantly limited,” leading to questions about his fitness for leadership.

Despite these concerns, Ocasio-Cortez dismissed worries about Biden’s age, pointing out that former President Donald Trump, a‌ Republican front-runner, is of ⁢a similar age. She emphasized the need to focus ⁤on Biden’s‍ record and criticized Trump for the numerous indictments he faced during‍ his presidency.

However, Biden’s detractors‌ argue that Trump possesses superior‍ mental acuity compared to Biden. ⁣They believe Trump is more eloquent and does not make as⁢ many significant gaffes ⁢as Biden ⁤does. They point to ⁣instances⁤ where Biden confused the presidents⁢ of Mexico and Egypt during a recent address and made a ⁤promise to serve all people, regardless of political affiliation, forgetting⁤ that the Democratic party is associated with the color blue.

Moreover,⁤ Dr. Marty ‌Makary from Johns Hopkins University expressed concerns regarding Biden’s‌ age-related dementia, suggesting that ⁣it may worsen ⁤over the next four⁢ years. Despite these opinions from credible sources and the concerns ⁣of American voters, Ocasio-Cortez remains steadfast in her support for Biden.

While⁣ Ocasio-Cortez’s⁤ loyalty to Biden is commendable,⁤ it is important to⁤ recognize and address concerns about a⁢ leader’s mental capacity. As the nation depends on its leaders for sound decision-making and effective governance, it is crucial to have leaders who are mentally fit ⁢and ⁢capable of fulfilling‌ their duties.

In conclusion, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement of Joe ⁣Biden, despite⁤ concerns over his age and mental ⁢acuity, highlights the division among political commentators⁤ and voters regarding the importance of these factors ⁤in choosing a leader. As the debate continues, it is essential ⁣to prioritize the mental fitness of political leaders and ensure ⁣that they are capable of making ⁤informed and effective decisions for‍ the‍ betterment of the nation.
