Arnold Schwarzenegger: Republicans Will Lose with Trump as Nominee

In a recent interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his belief that if Donald Trump were to become the Republican Party’s nominee again, it would be a serious mistake. Schwarzenegger thinks that Trump will lose to President Joe Biden in the general election.

Why Was January 6th Riot So Significant?

Schwarzenegger also criticized the media for not covering the January 6th riot correctly. He believes that the focus was on punishing right-wingers instead of understanding why people were so upset and angry at the government. According to Schwarzenegger, false claims about the 2020 election were only “the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”

Unbelievable Dissatisfaction and Anger

“There’s so much anger,” Schwarzenegger said. He thinks that people were motivated to drive to Washington, D.C. because of an “unbelievable dissatisfaction” with the government. However, he doesn’t believe that Trump will be able to win the White House again.

Trump Won’t Win the White House Again

Despite Trump currently leading the 2024 GOP primary polls, Schwarzenegger is not concerned. He thinks that too many people have seen what Trump did as President and that they will see the difference between him and Biden on Election Day. Schwarzenegger is not alone in his opinion that having Biden back as President is a good thing.
