Hutchinson ignores low poll numbers, says it’s too early to tell.
Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson Not Worried About Low Polling Numbers
“First of all, it’s very early, the dust has not settled from people entering the race, so the voters are going to figure that out,”
Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson is currently lagging behind in the polls for the 2024 presidential race, with former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) taking up most of the support. However, Hutchinson is not concerned about his low polling numbers and believes it’s too early to make any final calls.
In an interview on MSNBC, Hutchinson dismissed concerns about his chances of winning the nomination and instead focused on his extensive experience. He highlighted his background as a governor, a congressman, and a leader of important agencies, including those focused on national security and drug overdose crisis in America.
“These are experiences that America needs when you look at border security, whenever you look at the challenge of crime in our cities and in our country. My background fits perfectly with that,” Hutchinson said.
Despite his low polling numbers, Hutchinson is eager to share his unique vision for the United States, which includes more energy production, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening the economy, and controlling federal spending.
Recent Polls Show Hutchinson Polling at 0%
Two recent polls from Fox News and Quinnipiac, both taken from May 19-22, had Hutchinson polling at 0%. However, Hutchinson remains optimistic and believes that voters will eventually recognize his experience and vision for the country.
Don’t count Hutchinson out just yet. It’s still early in the race, and anything can happen.
