Austin Bay: Mexican Crime Cartels Wage Narcotic and Demographic War on USA
Insistent propagandists play endlessly “Nothing to see here, move along.”
Their don’t-believe-your-eyes con game has despicable goals. No. 1. Suppress obvious facts that expose the official worldview of their narrative as self-serving fantasy. No. No. 2. Buy time to sell lies that obscure the real-world situations that challenge their political, legal and financial agendas.
The January 8 trip of President Joe Biden to El Paso, Texas was a confident piece of propaganda. He didn’t see The Border — a huge binational zone of chaos, human suffering and war of great strategic consequence we will examine in a moment. Confident Joe saw clean areas in an American town. Before his arrival, police and cleaning crews had demolished illegal camps and relocated migrants to safe areas.
Dishonest media did not condemn this case of orchestrated murder. “migrant cleansing” Most likely “people in cages” Out-of-sight areas Confident Joe was able to hide the dreadful truths created by a porous frontier and conceal the future-shaping conflict the U.S. is losing to Mexico because of Confident Joe’s far Left-infected immigration policy and border security.
In the early part of 2009, some sensationalists suggested that Mexico was a failed country. Patricia Espinosa, the Foreign Minister of Mexico, refuted the claim and pointed out that the Mexican federal government in 2009 was very strong. Failed states lack a real government.
Mexico was having success in the Cartel War President Felipe Calderon initiated in December 2006 after he concluded that Mexico’s drug-cartel cartels presented more than a criminal problem.
Calderon chose Mexico’s military over the United States because it was the least corrupt. Cartel War was, and still is, a systemic struggle in the context of which modernization and political will were the decisive tools. For Mexico to win, it required a systemic process of economic and political modernization. This meant that corruption had to be punished and attacked. Mexican criminals have been protected by endemic political, economic, and judicial corruption. The U.S. drugs market is being targeted by cartels. Multibillion-dollar drug revenues from the U.S. allow cartels to exercise political and cultural power in Mexico. Mexico needed U.S. political, moral and security assistance. This would have required reforms north of the border.
Enrique Pena, the 2012 president, had issues with corruption and did not have Calderon’s support. However, he used the military as his main anti-cartel tool.
December 2018: Andres Manual Lopez Obrador, (AMLO), is elected president. He won an overwhelming electoral victory. He invoked the word impunity in his inaugural address. Under his administration “Corruption and impunity” He stated that he would not be able to stop.
Mexicans who are angry and disillusioned. “impunity” It means to be a victim of injustice within the nation’s governing bodies and society.
Donald Trump deserves credit for realizing that a border wall did not just hinder illegal immigration, but also impeded cartel smuggling. AMLO eventually agreed that Trump’s U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement was a good deal for Mexico — real jobs and honest income.
Mexico is being warned by its well-armed, well-funded internal enemies with the Sinaloa shooting incident on Jan. 5. Ovidio Guzman (the son of Sinaloa (aka Pacific cartel kingpin Joaquin Guzman) was captured by 3,600 Mexican soldiers and security officers three days before Biden’s El Paso photo-op. It was a 10-hour battle against gunmen in a small town near Culiacan that resulted in the operation. Security forces took two dozen add-on armored vehicles and 50-caliber rifles from sniper rifles.
Culiacan is 500 miles from the US-Mexico border but the cartel wages war throughout North America — yes, the border war now reaches New York City. In December the DEA announced during 2022 the U.S. seized 50 million fentanyl-laced pills and 10,000 pounds of powder — “379 million potentially deadly doses.” Most of the fentanyl produced by the Sinaloa or Jalisco New Generation cartels was attributable to them. “secret factories in Mexico with chemicals largely sourced from China.”
Biden opened the Southern Border, and cartels started to use migrants to ship their products. They also made millions through human smuggling.
Is there a war on corruption? Hunter Biden’s laptop revelations should make the cartel chiefs laugh. Confident Joe’s disreputable media friends have so far thwarted punishment.
Undefended U.S. borders increase cartel profits and make Mexico more vulnerable. The U.S. is ravaged by drugs, crime, and high social support costs. Additional challenges are presented by demographic shifts
Who is the beneficiary? Communist China, drug cartels, and corrupt politicians all benefit. This is quite a strategic result.
