Banks Subpoenaed for Biden Family Financial Records
Businesses were subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee to request the financial details of Biden community associates.
Fox News has confirmed that Mervyn Yan, a former Hunter Biden market connect, as well as Bank of America, Cathay Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC USA N. A., were subpoenaed by the Oversight Committee to request monetary information.
The top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., complained that Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky, was attempting to withhold information about the evaluation from the committee’s Democrats’s.

” Ranking Member Raskin has again disclosed Committee’s subpoenas’s in a cheap attempt to thwart cooperation from other witnesses ,” Comer said in an interview with Fox News. The American public and media may be wondering what material Ranking Member Raskin is trying to conceal this time given his shenanigans with the first lender subpoena. The tricks of Ranking Member Raskin shouldn’t fool anyone. The details are never favorable for the Biden life, according to the bank reports we have.

On Thursday, members of the Oversight Committee Democrat staff received a letter accusing Republicans of conducting their investigation in secrecy.
Democratic efforts on this and other congressional committees have not produced any proof of President Biden’s misconduct’s, despite this significant time and resource choice. However, as part of this ongoing evaluation, Chairman Comer has issued six information summons for financial information, some of which are based on information that Republicans know to be false, according to the letter.
According to the Democrat note, some recipients of subpoenas are allegedly aware that the committee is looking for their records because Republicans haven’t been disclosing or notifying Democrats.

As part of Committee Republicans’ continuing investigation into the Biden life to Bank of America, Chairman Comer quietly issued the Committee’s first record subpoena on February 27, 2023. This lawsuit requested, among other things, all financial records for John R. Walker, a personal U.S. member,” from January 20, 2009, to the present”( a remarkable 14-year period ). However, due to Chairman Comer’s use’s of a covert summons, Mr. Walker was never informed that Bank of America had given the Committee access to his financial information, that they were being made public, or that the committee was making information from these reports publicly available, according to the letter.
Fox News Digital was informed by a Cathay Bank interpreter that the lender will work with the Oversight Committee.
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability has requested information from” Cathay Bank ,” a NASDAQ-listed U. S. financial institution for more than 60 years. According to the bank’s spokesperson’s, it will continue to work with the council.
