Newt Gingrich: Obama is the “Driving Force” Behind Biden Administration
In a recent interview with Hannity, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich expressed his belief that former President Barack Obama is the driving force behind the decisions made by the Biden administration. Gingrich went on to criticize President Joe Biden, stating that he is not capable of making real decisions at the White House.
Gingrich Raises Concerns About Biden’s Cognitive Abilities
Gingrich raised concerns about Biden’s recent trip to Maui in the aftermath of the island’s wildfires, stating, “He was so clearly out of it that frankly, I think it’s frightening. This is not about politics and scoring points. This is the commander in chief of the most powerful military in the world. And it is clear that at least half of the time, he is just not there. Month by month, his cognitive collapse is more and more obvious.”
Referring to a recent poll, Gingrich highlighted that over three-quarters of people believe Biden is too old to effectively serve another term as president. He predicted that by next summer, at least 90% of Americans will hold that view.
Obama’s Influence on the Biden Administration
Gingrich speculated that the driving force behind the Biden administration is Barack Obama, noting that Obama is the only president since Woodrow Wilson to stay in Washington. He emphasized that Obama’s presence and the permeation of his staff within the Biden administration are significant factors. Gingrich praised Obama’s intelligence, contrasting it with Biden’s cognitive decline.
Biden Administration: More Like Obama Than Biden
Gingrich observed that the Biden administration resembles an Obama administration more than the Joe Biden of 10 or 15 years ago. He described the current administration as radical and left-wing, expressing concerns about their policies, such as the electric car policy, which he believes will result in job losses and achieve nothing in the long run. Gingrich also criticized the proposal to limit Americans to two beers a week, calling it petty nanny-state interference.
Overall, Gingrich believes that the Biden administration’s alignment with Obama’s policies will be detrimental to the Democratic Party.
