Chloe⁢ Cole, a courageous 19-year-old woman, stood before lawmakers on Capitol Hill and shared her harrowing story. She declared herself a victim of one of the most significant medical scandals in American history. Cole’s powerful testimony‍ took place during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on “The Dangers and Due Process Violations of ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ For‌ Children.”

Cole’s plea was heartfelt as she spoke directly to lawmakers, urging them to have the courage to end this scandal. She hoped that her​ testimony⁢ would⁢ prevent other vulnerable⁤ teenagers, children, and young adults from enduring the same traumatic experiences she had.

At the age of 12, Cole began‍ experiencing gender dysphoria. Soon‍ after, she was subjected‍ to a ⁢series of “transition” procedures, ‍guided by doctors who led her family down a ⁣path of ideological deceit and coercion. Puberty blockers were ​administered immediately, followed by testosterone at the age of 13. Shockingly, at just 15 years old, Cole underwent a double ⁢mastectomy, despite not having breast cancer.

Reflecting on her ordeal, Cole lamented, “Before I was able​ to legally drive, I had ⁤a huge part of my future ⁤womanhood taken from me.” The irreversible changes to her voice and the uncertainty surrounding her fertility were constant reminders ⁢of the irreversible damage caused by these procedures.

She emphasized, “Their theories were wrong. The drugs⁤ and surgeries changed my ⁤body, but ​they did not, and could not ‍change the basic reality that I am and forever will be a female.”

Furthermore, Cole revealed that her mental health deteriorated after undergoing‌ transgender procedures, contrary to the doctors’ promises. She expressed her need for compassion, love, and therapy‌ to address⁢ her underlying issues, rather ⁢than affirming her delusion that transitioning would solve all her problems.

As Cole concluded her testimony on her 19th birthday, Republicans expressed their gratitude for her ⁢bravery. Representative Mike Johnson (R-LA) thanked her, acknowledging‌ her as a beautiful and courageous woman.

However, Shannon Minter, another witness who identifies as a man, dismissed Cole’s story as‍ an exception. Minter claimed that most young people​ who undergo ‍transgender procedures truly need them. In response, Cole⁤ stated that she was unaware of‌ any positive outcomes for children who transition at a young age.

On a ​positive note, approximately⁣ 20 states have taken action at the state​ level to ‍ban sex change surgeries and hormonal procedures on minors, demonstrating a growing recognition of‍ the need to protect vulnerable children.
