Nikki Haley tells Vivek: ‘You make me feel dumber.’
BEASTMODE: Nikki Haley Fires Back at Vivek Ramaswamy
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley didn’t hold back during Wednesday evening’s second GOP debate. She took a swipe at fellow 2024 challenger Vivek Ramaswamy, criticizing his extensive use of the Chinese spyware app TikTok. Haley boldly stated that she feels “a little bit dumber” every time Ramaswamy speaks.
“Honestly, every time I hear you, I feel a little bit dumber for what you say,” Haley interjected as Ramaswamy praised TikTok’s ability to connect politicians with younger voters. “This is infuriating, because TikTok is one of the most dangerous social media apps that we could have.”
TikTok and China’s spy operations have become major talking points among the 2024 GOP challengers. Each candidate is vowing to implement a complete ban on the app’s usage in America. While Ramaswamy clarified that he would eventually ban the app as well, he emphasized its importance as a platform to engage with younger voters.
Haley confronted Ramaswamy with a staggering statistic, stating that over 150 million people are on TikTok. She warned him about the app’s potential to access personal information such as contacts, financial details, emails, and text messages. Haley firmly believes that China is fully aware of the risks involved.
Interestingly, right after this intense exchange, Fox News aired a commercial break featuring a TikTok advertisement.
