A video ⁣of Shapiro’s remarks went viral on social media, where ⁣he criticized Owens for her behavior during the Israel-Hamas-Gaza ‍conflict, stating that it has been “disgraceful, without⁣ a⁢ doubt.”

Owens faced backlash from Republicans and pro-Israel activists for her statements,⁢ including a social media post implying⁣ that Israel was committing genocide in Gaza.

During her show on the Daily ‍Wire, Owens expressed ‌her concerns ⁤about the situation in Jerusalem, stating that it⁣ didn’t feel like true freedom to her.

While ⁣Owens did not‌ directly respond‍ to Shapiro’s comments, she posted a biblical quote on Twitter, prompting‌ Shapiro to ‌suggest that she should quit if she feels conflicted between her faith and ‌her association with the Daily Wire.

Owens fired back at Shapiro, calling him “unprofessional” and “emotionally unhinged.”

“You have been acting unprofessional and emotionally unhinged for weeks now. And we have all had to⁤ sit‍ back and allow it and have all tried⁣ to ⁤exercise exceeding understanding for your raw emotion,” Owens⁢ said. ”But you cross a certain line when you ⁣come for scripture and read yourself into‌ it.⁤ I will not tolerate it.”

How does Ben Shapiro’s response to Owens’ comments reflect the‍ ongoing‌ debate within the conservative movement regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict?

To be said. ⁤#FreePalestine⁢ #IsraelGenocide

Shapiro, a⁤ staunch supporter of Israel, criticized Owens for spreading what he called “anti-Israel propaganda” and accused her of spreading misinformation about the‌ conflict. He argued that Israel has the right to ⁣defend itself against⁣ terrorist attacks and that Owens’‌ comments were “dangerous and irresponsible.”

As the conflict between Israel and Hamas escalated, Owens made several controversial ⁤statements, including accusing Israel of targeting innocent civilians and comparing the situation to apartheid in South Africa. Her comments drew condemnation from both the conservative and pro-Israel communities.

Shapiro, known for his direct and confrontational ⁢style, didn’t mince words when discussing Owens’⁣ stance on Israel. He⁣ called her ‍behavior ”faux-sophistication”‌ and accused ⁣her of pandering to a⁣ certain segment of the conservative base.

Owens has not responded to Shapiro’s criticism directly, but she has continued to defend her position on Israel. In a series of tweets, she argued that criticism of⁣ Israel should not be equated with anti-Semitism, and that the‍ situation in Gaza‍ deserves international attention.

While ‌this ⁢disagreement between two prominent conservative figures may seem like an intra-party issue, it highlights the‌ ongoing debate⁤ within the conservative movement over how to approach the Israel-Palestine conflict. As support for Israel⁢ has traditionally been a core ⁢tenet of conservative ‍ideology, any public criticism of the ‍country from within conservative ranks is seen as divisive and potentially damaging.

As the conflict in the ‌Middle East continues, it remains to be‍ seen how this controversy will impact the larger conservative movement and the relationship between Owens and Shapiro. However, it is clear that their differing views on Israel have caused a significant ⁣rift within the ‌conservative media landscape.

Ultimately, this‌ controversy raises important questions about the role of conservative commentators in shaping public opinion⁢ and the limits of dissent within the conservative movement. As the Israel-Palestine conflict continues to ‌be a contentious issue, it is⁢ crucial for voices from all sides to engage in meaningful dialogue and strive for a better understanding of the complexities involved.
