The Daily Wire hosts Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh recently expressed their disapproval of razor company Harry’s for promoting the transgender activist group, the Trevor Project. The Trevor Project supports transgender treatments for minors, a stance that Shapiro and Walsh strongly oppose.
The controversy arose when a video featuring a trans-identifying female, who had undergone “top surgery” to remove her breasts, shaving with Harry’s razors went viral. The promotional campaign for the razors claimed that “100% of profits” from the purchase of the shave kits would be donated to the Trevor Project.

Shapiro responded to the controversy by mentioning Jeremy’s Razors, a razor company created by Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing. Shapiro emphasized the importance of not supporting companies that “glorify mutilation and sterilization” and encouraged people to choose alternatives like Jeremy’s Razors.

Matt Walsh, another host at The Daily Wire, echoed Shapiro’s sentiments and drew attention to the negative consequences faced by Anheuser-Busch after a similar partnership with a trans-identifying influencer. Walsh also highlighted a video of Harry’s CEO Andy Katz-Mayfield referring to mothers as “birthing parents” and fathers as “non-birthing parents,” which further fueled the backlash against the company.
