Ben Shapiro criticizes Biden’s poor reaction to Special Counsel Report, talks about new docu-series with Megyn Kelly
Ben Shapiro Slams President Biden’s Response to Special Counsel Report
Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro fiercely criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of a special counsel report during his appearance on the Megyn Kelly show. The discussion also delved into Shapiro’s new docu-series, “The Divided States of Biden.”
Kelly invited Shapiro to analyze the aftermath of the release of a report by Special Counsel Robert Hur, which concluded that Biden had “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials.” However, no charges were recommended due to the president’s mental acuity. In response to the report, Biden held a press conference where he made multiple mental errors.
Shapiro didn’t hold back in his criticism of Biden’s press conference, highlighting the president’s weaknesses. “I mean, it truly was the worst press conference I have ever seen by far. I’ve been watching these things for well over 20 years at this point, and obviously I’ve watched a lot of tape. That was horrendous,” Shapiro exclaimed.
During the conference, Biden mistakenly referred to the leaders of Egypt and Mexico by the wrong names. Shapiro humorously commented, “He makes the mistake of mixing up el-Sisi of Egypt with AMLO of Mexico, which, for the record, might explain why we have an open border. He’s asking the wrong guy to close the border.”
Shapiro also pointed out that the media now faces a decision on whether to fairly cover Biden or continue to overlook his mental struggles. “What a complete disaster area for the president. It’s hard to see, frankly, how he survives this. The media basically now have a choice. The media can either openly report what’s going on, and every day from now until the election will be a question about his mental state,” he stated.
Shapiro highlighted that Hur’s report confirmed Biden mishandled classified documents but opted not to pursue criminal charges due to the president’s potential memory issues.
Exploring “The Divided States of Biden”
Kelly and Shapiro also discussed Shapiro’s new docu-series, titled “The Divided States of Biden.” The series delves into the ongoing border crisis caused by Biden’s policies, resulting in a significant increase in illegal immigrants entering the U.S. and a rise in fentanyl and human trafficking.

“We’re basically going to all the sites in America where the issues are most relevant. We went down to the southern border,” Shapiro explained, emphasizing how he and his team witnessed firsthand the consequences of Biden’s border policies during their visit to Arizona.
Shapiro also visited Kensington in Pennsylvania, an area severely affected by fentanyl. He described the scene as something out of a dystopian movie, with people openly shooting drugs, rotting flesh, and fires. “It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in the United States. It looks like something from Mad Max,” Shapiro expressed.
Additionally, Shapiro traveled to Camden, New Jersey, to observe the impact of rising crime. “Divided States of Biden” aims to shed light on these issues by showcasing on-the-ground footage from locations where most people wouldn’t typically go.
