Biden funds program linking GOP to neo-Nazis.

Biden Administration Funds Program That Equates Christian and Conservative Groups with Nazis

The Department of Homeland Security is directing funds to a program at the University of Dayton that categorizes Christian and conservative groups alongside Nazi organizations.

The program, called PREVENTS-OH, received over $350,000 through the Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program, which aims to combat domestic violence extremism and hate movements.

During the grant application process, the university presented a chart that placed mainstream conservative institutions like Fox News, the Heritage Foundation, and the GOP alongside Nazi groups.

Under the Biden administration, the program now focuses on right-wing violence and white supremacy, with grant amounts ranging from $85,000 to $1.19 million and costing taxpayers nearly $40 million.

Controversial Categorization

The University of Dayton’s PREVENTS-OH program has come under fire for its controversial categorization of conservative and Christian groups alongside Nazi organizations. The program received over $350,000 through the Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program, which aims to combat domestic violence extremism and hate movements.

During the grant application process, the university presented a chart that placed mainstream conservative institutions like Fox News, the Heritage Foundation, and the GOP alongside Nazi groups. This categorization has been widely criticized as unfair and inaccurate.

Focus on Right-Wing Violence

Under the Biden administration, the Targeted Violence & Terrorism Prevention Grant Program has shifted its focus to right-wing violence and white supremacy. The program has awarded 80 grants in total, with grant amounts ranging from $85,000 to $1.19 million and costing taxpayers nearly $40 million.

DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has called the program a “high priority,” according to an internal memo. However, Republicans have investigated Mayorkas extensively for his failure on the border crisis. A House Republican recently told him that he has “brought generational trauma upon our country.”
