Biden Admin Has Flown 320,000 Migrants Into U.S. Airports, Recognizes Security Threats: Report

The Biden administration has reportedly admitted to flying hundreds of thousands of migrants into U.S. airports, and has acknowledged associated security threats.

A report from Todd Bensman at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) alleges that 320,000 inadmissible migrants flew directly into the U.S. in 2023 alone, facilitated mostly by the CBP One cellphone app. CIS says it was able to confirm 43 U.S. airports have received these migrants, but the government has refused to disclose the names of the airports, citing security “vulnerabilities.”

A legal filing from lawyers for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol stated that disclosing the names of the airports, or how many migrants are arriving there, would “reveal operational vulnerabilities that could be exploited by bad actors … thereby undermining CBP’s law enforcement efforts to secure the United States borders.”

In his report, Bensman noted that these so-called “bad actors” the government is concerned about already do have some access to where this is taking place. For example, there is government data available that shows airports in Boston, Chicago, and New York City seeing huge spikes in arrivals from 2022 to 2023.

The under-the-radar program is part of President Joe Biden’s dramatic expansion of immigration parole programs. Historically, immigrant parolees are given legal pathways to temporarily reside in the U.S. due to major events, such as war or other humanitarian crises. In other instances, parole is offered to immigrants on a rare case-by-case basis. But under Biden, more than 1 million migrants have already been granted immigration parole directly into the U.S.

Biden has been under fire for his handling of the worsening border crisis. Still, the president has largely stood by his policies and shifted blame to Republicans in Congress.

On Monday, the administration moved to stop Texas from trying to enforce immigration law via Senate Bill 4. Texas had scored a legal win at an appeals court that paved the way for the state to enact the law as early as next week. However, Biden appealed to the Supreme Court, trying to halt Texas from taking matters into its own hands.

SB4 would make it a state misdemeanor to cross the Texas-Mexico border illegally. Those who cross illegally can be deported back to their native countries – which directly defies Biden’s current catch-and-release policy – or the migrant would face prosecution. It also targets repeat offenders: if an illegal alien tries to reenter the state, they could be penalized with up to 20 years in prison.
