Joe Biden fast-tracked the deportation of some illegal immigrants from the U.S. In a letter on Friday, the Biden administration announced the return of so-called “deportation flights.”
These flights were stopped for a time, but have since restarted reportedly because of the spread of the COVID Delta variant. The flights have been those fast-tracked for deportation outside of the Title 42 public health order.
DHS today resumed expedited removal flights for certain families who recently arrived at the southern border, cannot be expelled under Title 42, and do not have a legal basis to stay in the U.S. https://t.co/EOmSxX6hYg
