By characterizing⁢ Trump’s legal troubles and drama as “chaos,” Haley avoids attacking ​him⁢ on policy issues and instead focuses on his style of governance. Felkel believes Haley needs to shed her restraint and go on the offensive against Trump if she hopes to win over disaffected Republicans and independents. He urged her to take “the gloves off ‍soon” and adopt a ⁢”scorched earth” approach.

Del Percio agreed, stating, “With Nikki Haley, the ​problem is that she’s been too restricted.” While Haley is targeting Trump, Del Percio believes she is using polite language ⁣and is more focused on​ securing a role in Trump’s potential second administration, ​possibly as vice president.
