Biden ‘Best Communicator’ In White House? Oh Man, We’re In Trouble.
White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday was asked whether President Joe Biden has a preferred way to communicate with the American people — something he rarely does.
“The President is the best communicator that we have in the White House,” She spoke.
If that’s the case, hoo boy, we’re in trouble.
The U.S. military helped Canada to down a fourth unidentified flying object in the last week. Even though Congressmen on Capitol Hill insist that Biden address the issue, he hasn’t.
“I think it is time for the President to address the nation,” On Tuesday, Sen. Marsha BLACKBURN (R-TN), said these words. “This is when we need to have an Oval Office address. And he needs to say this is what we know. This is what we’re doing.”
“This has been going on for a long time and we don’t know what most of them are,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) said. “The President & the DNI [Director of National Intelligence] need to explain what these things are, who put them up there and do they pose a threat.”
Even Democrats are demanding Biden explain what’s going on. Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal said: “the American people need and deserve to know more.” Biden has yet to provide any address, more than 11-days after a Chinese balloon flew across the country.
So let’s take a look at the “best communicator” In the White House
“Jackie Are You Here?”
Biden gave a speech at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, Washington, D.C. in September. He also made a few shout-outs, as he does often.
“I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like … Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative … Jackie, Jackie are you here?” Biden stated that he is currently looking for Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-IN. “I think she was going to be here to help make this a reality.”
Walorski had died. Walorski, along with three others, died in an accident that resulted in a head on collision of three cars on August 3.
“The Pandemic Is Over”
Biden also made a declaration that month.
“The pandemic is over,” During an interview, the president stated these words to reporters “60 Minutes” Anchor Scott Pelley at Detroit Auto Show “We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lot of work on it … but the pandemic is over. If you notice, no one’s wearing masks. Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape.”
The comments were almost immediately retracted by the White House.
“What he really meant is that the very severe stage of the pandemic of having … 3,000 deaths a day — that stage is no longer present,” POLITICO spoke with Anthony Fauci (the top White House physician adviser) “People should not be cavalier that we’re out of the woods.”
“One China”
Biden, long a self-described foreign policy expert, doesn’t understand U.S. foreign policy.
Biden responded that the U.S. would not intervene if China invaded Taiwan. “Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack.”
While the U.S.’s “one China” policy does not recognize Chinese sovereignty over Taiwan, the U.S. does acknowledge the Chinese government’s position that Taiwan is a part of China.
This one was quickly retracted by the administration, too.
“When the President of the United States wants to announce a policy change, he will do so. He has not done so,” Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Adviser said.
“Cannot Remain In Power”
Biden spoke out about Russian President Vladimir Putin during a trip to Europe, April 2022. “cannot remain in power,” hinting at regime change. He called Putin a war criminal, and suggested that American troops would be sent to Ukraine to deal with the situation. “in kind” If Russia used chemical weapons.
This, too, was quickly walked back.
“The president’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change,” A White House official said that Fox News Digital had reported the comments about Putin.
“Not Saying It’s Going To Be Legit”
Biden cast doubts on the outcome of the 2022 midterm election, suggesting that they would not be legitimate if Congress failed to pass voting rights legislation.
“Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election,” Biden spoke during a January press conference.
“I’m not saying it’s going to be legit, as the increase in the prospect of being illegitimate is a direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed,” He added.
Broken record: That was the same White House that did it back.
There are just too many to list (here’s Time’s Top 10), but we’d suggest to the powers that be at the White House
