Joe Biden Under Fire for Relationship with Grandchildren
Joe Biden is facing criticism following the resurfacing of an old video showcasing his bond with his grandchildren.
In 2020, while running for president, Biden shared a heartfelt video on Twitter, declaring, “I’ve had a rule my entire life: No matter what’s happening, no matter how important the meeting, I’ll always answer a call from my grandchildren.”
The video captures Biden speaking to one of his granddaughters over the phone, expressing his love for her and promising to talk to her upon his return to Delaware.
“She is an incredible kid,” he affectionately remarks as the call concludes.

While the video is nearly three years old, it has recently sparked controversy as it becomes evident that Biden is intentionally excluding one of his grandchildren from the family.
On July 1, The New York Times reported that Joe and Jill Biden claim to have only six grandchildren, despite the reality of having seven.

Regardless of the circumstances, Navy Roberts is his granddaughter and deserves a relationship with her family. Her life is just as valuable as that of any other Biden grandchild, and it is crucial for the president and his family to treat her accordingly. Biden should acknowledge her existence and exert pressure on his son to take responsibility for his daughter and provide support. Instead, he has consistently lied and covered up for his son’s actions. The family even refuses to allow Navy Joan to bear the Biden name, opting for her to carry her mother’s last name, “Roberts,” in an attempt to distance themselves from the child. It is evident that being part of the Biden family may not be the most pleasant experience.
