In a recent discussion on Newsmax, Tiana Lowe Doescher from the *Washington Examiner* criticized the Biden administration regarding accusations of its alleged involvement in the FBI’s examination into former President Donald Trump related to the January 6 Capitol attacks. The controversy stems from claims made by Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, who assert that the Biden White House played a role in aiding the FBI to obtain government cellphones belonging to Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence. This involvement contradicts previous statements from the Biden administration claiming no participation in the investigation, raising concerns about the relationship between the White House and the FBI.doescher emphasized the potential impropriety in targeting a former president who intends to run for office again, arguing that the Biden administration’s actions reflect a troubling coordination wiht the FBI. Biden administration ‘impropriety’ on display in alleged assistance of FBI investigation of Trump: Tiana Lowe Doescher
The Washington Examiner’s Tiana Lowe Doescher blasted the Biden administration’s “impropriety” following accusations recently raised against it for alleged direct involvement in advancing the Jan. 6 investigation against President Donald Trump.
In a recent segment on Newsmax, host Carl Higbie asked Doescher, a political columnist and commentator at the Washington Examiner, about explosive new revelations made by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI), who allege that officials within the Biden White House played a direct role in helping the FBI secure government cellphones belonging to Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence.
According to the senators, this involvement, documented in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, provides proof that the Biden administration actively contributed to the launch of special counsel Jack Smith‘s investigation into Trump and his actions related to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
Despite prior claims from the Biden administration that they had no part in the investigation, the senators’ findings suggest otherwise, raising concerns about the apparent coordination between the White House and the FBI.
Doescher stressed the significance of the accusations on Wednesday.
“If you’re going after a former president who has already made it clear that he intends to run again, even the appearance of impropriety should be something you’d want to run away from,” she said.

“But instead, the Biden White House and Biden FBI, which at this point were the exact same thing, clearly ran toward it,” Doescher continued.
Doescher further criticized the New York Times for “being turned into idiots” for being used by the FBI, particularly by a special agent in charge who was accused of leaking details throughout the investigation and after being dismissed for violating the Hatch Act.
