President Joe Biden Reportedly Complains About Staff Treatment
According to a new book on the Biden administration, President Joe Biden has expressed frustration with how his staff has treated him, comparing it to being treated like a toddler.
The book, titled The Last Politician by Atlantic writer Franklin Foer, reveals Biden’s complaint to his friends, questioning if previous presidents like John Kennedy were ever babied in the same way.
The incident that triggered this complaint reportedly occurred when Biden made a comment in March 2022, stating that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.” However, White House staffers immediately walked back the comment, leading Biden to feel resentful towards his aides for cleaning up his mess.
The White House clarified that Biden’s intention was to emphasize that Putin should not have power over neighboring countries or the region, rather than discussing Putin’s power within Russia or advocating for regime change.
The book also mentions that Biden left his visit to Warsaw, where he made the controversial comment, feeling sorry for himself.
This is not the first time Biden has expressed resentment towards his staff. Earlier this summer, he reportedly lashed out at aides who suggested he distance himself from his scandal-plagued son, Hunter, firmly stating, “Hands off my family.”
