Biden Signs Equity Executive Order Under the Radar Injecting Racism Across the Federal Government

Mondays are the most important news days. This is due to the fact that newsrooms at weekends are not staffed as much unless you are one of three major 24/7 news organizations. You can still catch some news on Friday afternoons if you’re looking for small nuggets.

That’s when administrations and agencies tend to dump their ‘trash’ that they don’t necessarily want any news outlets to pick up on. This is exactly what the Biden administration did just before President’s Day weekend. You are lucky, dear reader. Your friendly neighborhood spicy political commentator, a nerd, and trolls Friday press release.

What did Sleepy Joe do with the pre-weekend garbage? A Presidential Order mandating the injection of equity in all areas of the federal government. Trust me, this is one you need to be concerned about.

You’ll be trained, and you’ll comply

The Executive Order was signed into law by President Biden Federal Government: Additional Support for Racial Equity, and Support for the Underserved Communities on February 16th. This EO was built upon one of his first EOs, which mandated federal government planning for equity programs within agencies.

This EO Mandates It is important to include equity teams in every federal agency that has to administer equity training and equity leaders across federal employees. The federal government has a need for more training and less work.

Additionally, each agency head must appoint a senior ranking official to lead the agency Equity Team because being a ‘leader’ in the federal government is really just about heading up nonsensical baseless teams versus actually leading any real change.

These Equity Team Leaders are expected to work in collaboration with the agency’s Chief Diversity Officer. This will also work with both the Environmental Justice Officer as well as the White House Gender Policy Council. Think about it for a second.

There are currently over 20 agencies with Chief Diversity Officers and Environmental Justice Officers. Soon, Equity Team Officers will be added. You know, there are some areas where we can reduce federal government spending that could save money.

The Point

What exactly is the purpose these Equity Teams? Other than collecting data and attending interminable, pointless meeting after meeting? According to the EO, they are responsible for ensuring that their Equity Teams meet all of their objectives. Charge From our Chief Executive “Embedding Equity into Government-wide Processes.”

Our federal government is directed to inject equity into its processes in many ways. One of these is to “review and update internal processes, directives, and government-wide guidance to support equitable decision-making, promote equitable deployment of financial and technical assistance…”

Let’s take a moment to think about this one. This agency includes the Administrator of Small Business Administration.

It is possible that some small-business owners may not be approved for federal loans based on their skin color. Others will, however, get their loans approved for the exact same reason. It seems hardly equitable.

It gets worse. The EO is also Directs Agents that “When designing, developing, acquiring, and using Artificial Intelligence” They will ensure it is “in a manner that advances equity.”

While not quite Skynet-esque, they are still frightening.

The T-1000 will not be started by requiring federal agencies to ensure that their AI algorithms are operating under an equity lens. This would require me to start my lifelong goal to become Sarah Connor. This push will still have major repercussions for Americans.

American First Legal Foundation Claims This part of the EO encourages IRS to change its algorithms to audit more black taxpayers than white taxpayers. They point to a specific section of the EO that states these Equity Teams must “prevent and remedy discrimination, including by protecting the public from algorithmic discrimination.”

President Biden states, “Underserved communities often face significant barriers and legacy exclusions in engaging with agencies and providing input on federal policies and programs that affect them.” Please note the reference to “legacy exclusions” as a lover of language; I must say that is perhaps the most poetic way to repackage the concept of ‘systemic racism.’

But, the key part of the President’s above statement is the idea of underserved areas. The definition of an underserved neighborhood can be complicated and difficult. This is why it’s so hard to pin down.

Every demographic can be considered underserved at any given moment. That is why definitions matter.

Equity’s Inbalance

The EO defines equity. “the fair treatment of individuals from all backgrounds including Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders, women and girls and LGBTQI+.” We have such a laughable government because of the left’s obsession with equity.

Equity is just an offshoot for diversity and the President has been riding this bandwagon throughout his presidency. That’s why he employed our hilariously incompetent Secretary for Transportation and his inept Press Secretary.

This is why he tried to enforce racial or gender discrimination during the pandemic. Quotas Small businesses and farmers can apply for financial aid. It wasn’t that he cared about minority people, it was because he wanted others to see him as caring.

Equity is about equality in outcomes and not in opportunities. This ill-conceived concept tries to claim that everyone can and should have the same life outcomes, but it’s a gateway drug to socialism.

Life is unfair, and no amount of ‘forced fairness’ will make it more equitable. The federal government will not be more accessible through these Equity Teams. They will only make it more difficult to access and more racist.

Last but not least, the most critical line in the EO is “Starting with formulation of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget” The Equity Teams are to communicate “how the President’s Budget can support the Equity Action Plans.” Another example of a tax money pit that was created to enrich a corrupt bureaucracy with the red herrings of equity.
