Biden slammed for taking a bite out of more than candy at White House Halloween
President Joe Biden spent his final Halloween at the White House nibbling on multiple children as the first couple handed out candy at the annual celebration. His behavior quickly became a trending topic on social media.
During one encounter captured in a photo, the president was seen biting a baby wearing a chicken outfit.

It’s far from the first time the White House Halloween event has created a viral moment for U.S. presidents. In 2019, then-President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump placed chocolate bars on top of a trick-or-treater dressed as an inflatable Minion from the Despicable Me films.
In 2015, a young child attended the White House Halloween event dressed as the pope while driving a pushable popemobile, prompting then-President Barack Obama to congratulate the child with a “top prize” compliment.
Biden’s Halloween actions occurred a day after he referred to Trump supporters as “garbage” during a livestream. He attempted to clarify his statement shortly after on X, claiming he was trying to rebuke “hateful rhetoric” spoken through a joke told at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.
Trump spent Wednesday night donning a garbage worker uniform and riding in a custom campaign garbage truck in response to Biden’s remarks. During a rally in Wisconsin, Trump picked up the endorsement of former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre and is set to visit New Mexico and Arizona on Thursday.
The former president is running against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election after Biden dropped his reelection bid in July. Harris is also returning to Arizona on Thursday to shore up her support among Latino men, which could be shifting toward Trump ahead of Election Day.
