Biden Spars Over Classified Documents in Garage With Fox News’ Peter Doocy

After revelations that another batch of classified documents was discovered at Biden’s home, President Biden fought with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy. Wilmington, Delaware.

The White House Counsel’s Office The discovery was made public on Thursday It claimed it had started a search for Biden’s homes at Rehoboth Beach, Wilmington and after the news of the first stash broke this Week. Documents were found in the Wilmington garage.

“Classified documents next to your Corvette? What were you thinking?” Doocy asked. 

“I’m going to get the chance to speak on all of this, God willing it’ll be soon, but I said earlier this week–and by the way my Corvette is in a locked garage. It’s not like it’s sitting out in the street,” Biden responded.

“So the documents were in a locked garage,” Doocy prompted.

“Yes, as well as my Corvette. But as I said earlier this week, people know I take classified documents and classified material seriously,” Biden said. “I also said we’re cooperating fully and completely with the Justice Department’s review.”

Biden continued to state that the White House Counsel’s Office had searched his Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach homes this week following revelations about Obama-era classified documents stored at a Washington think tank. Biden is being scrutinized more frequently His handling of classified documents.

White House lawyers claim they immediately contacted DOJ when they found the documents this Week. The contents of the documents have not been revealed, nor has Biden’s or any other individual seen them.

“Lawyers discovered among personal and political papers a small number of additional Obama-Biden administration records with classified markings. All but one of these documents were found in storage space in the President’s Wilmington residence garage,” The White House lawyers made the statement in a Thursday statement. “One document consisting of one page was discovered among stored materials in an adjacent room.”

According to the White House no documents were discovered at Biden’s Rehoboth Beach home. Biden’s office has also arranged for the delivery of the documents to DOJ.

The Wilmington documents are the second collection of classified Obama-era documents to be discovered. The Penn Biden Center Washington, an aligned think tank, found the first collection.

Attorney General Merrick Grland appointed John Lausch (the U.S. Assistant for the Northern District of Illinois) to investigate the matter. Lausch is a Trump appointee. According to the White House, Biden is cooperating fully with the investigation.

This discovery is similar to revelations made last year. Trump owned a treasure trove After leaving office, he left behind classified documents in his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. His home was raided by the FBI to recover 300 classified documents.
