Biden urges Congress to pass COVID-19 relief plan

The push toward more COVID-19 relief money for Americans has continued as Joe Biden urged lawmakers to take action.
In a tweet on Sunday, the White House said Biden is calling on Congress to pass his coronavirus relief plan.
President Biden is calling on Congress to immediately pass his American Rescue Plan and finish the job of getting $2,000 in direct relief to those who need it most. He’s committed to ensuring hardworking Americans get the relief they need.

The Democrat also asked lawmakers to “finish the job” of getting $2,000 in direct relief to those “who need it most.”

However, many Americans have criticized Biden’s proposed push for $1,400 in additional relief as not enough.
