Biden Waives Sanctions on Iran’s Chief Propaganda Arm

While the Biden administration lifted sanctions against Iran’s state news agency, the hardline regime continues to use the outlet to destort and underreport the murder of dissidents as well as fuel sham trials for protesters.
According to a notice sent to Congress by the non-public source and obtained by Congress, Secretary of State Antony Blinken lifted sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting channel (IRIB), the main propaganda outlet of the regime, on February 15. Washington Free Beacon.
