Biden’s Border Lies Catch Up With Him In First Debate
In a critical analysis, the article highlights President Joe Biden’s problematic assertions during a presidential debate, focusing primarily on his claims about border policies and endorsements. Biden was reported to have delivered numerous untruths during the debate, notably about the endorsement of the Border Patrol, which was promptly refuted by the National Border Patrol Council stating they have never endorsed Biden. Concurrently, former President Trump corrected Biden on stage, emphasizing the union’s endorsement of him and not Biden. The article further discusses Biden’s controversial border policies, which have been blamed for a significant increase in illegal immigration. Despite Biden’s claim of a reduction in illegal border crossings, reports suggest otherwise, indicating persistent issues at the border. The article questions Biden’s successful management of border policies, underscoring that his policies have led to increased illegal crossings and issues within border towns and cities. The emotional element is notably addressed with a personal story from Alexis Nungaray, whose child’s aspirations were tragically cut short, underscoring the human impact of broader policy and governance failures. The contradictions between Biden’s statements and factual reports suggest a concerning disconnection on critical national issues like immigration.
To be clear, President Joe Biden was a lie machine gun at Thursday night’s presidential debate, the first of two scheduled before November’s election.
My colleague Shawn Fleetwood reported on 20 bald-faced Biden whoppers. There were more, many more. If he would have kept going, he might have run out of room — on the internet. At one point, the lies were coming so fast and furious that Fleetwood was like the medic in “Saving Private Ryan” trying to tend to wounded soldiers on D-Day as the Nazis relentlessly mowed down the first wave of invading Allied forces. “Just give us a f-cking chance,” the medic screamed amid a torrent of machine-gun fire and explosions. I could feel Fleetwood was nearly as overwhelmed trying to keep up with Biden’s lies.
The Democrat’s accomplices in corporate media like to shrug off his many untruths as tall tales or “exaggerations.” But Biden couldn’t hide from one of his biggest lies of the night, particularly after he was caught by Border Patrol shortly after the lie was released.
‘We Never Have and Never Will’
“By the way, the border patrolmen endorsed me, endorsed my position,” Biden told the CNN moderators and stunned Americans watching a desiccated corpse speak.
Not long after Biden made the claim, the National Border Patrol Council, the union that represents the some 18,000 agents, took to X to set the record straight.
“To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden.”
Oops. Oh, Joe, you got some ’splainin’ to do!
As GOP presumptive presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump also corrected on stage, the union has endorsed him and has railed against what they and the vast majority of Americans believe to be Biden’s disastrous border policies. The union did tepidly endorse an ill-conceived and ill-named border security bill manufactured by the White House and Republicans who have apparently given up on any hope of an actual border. The proposed agreement went up in flames when people who still care about having a border rightly killed it.
USA Today hilariously gave Biden’s lie a “partly false” rating in its “Presidential Debate Fact Check.”
More than 12 Million
The endorsement lie was among a suite of falsehoods the unpopular incumbent told about his failed border policies responsible for a flood of illegal immigrants over Biden’s tenure. Illegal immigration is one of the biggest concerns in the election, voters have consistently said. And they don’t trust Biden on the issue.
Biden bragged during the debate that illegal border crossings have dropped 40 percent in the three weeks since his administration “suspended” asylum processing, a claim parroted in matching stories from the accomplice media. Interestingly, the New York Post reported that in the days after Biden’s “crackdown” took effect, more than 40,000 illegal immigrants crossed into the United States from Mexico.
“Border Patrol sources say that most of the migrants are still being given court dates and released into the US — despite the Biden Administration’s claim that the new measure would stem the flow of illegal immigrants into border towns and major cities,” the Post reported.
And lest we forget, it was Biden’s undoing of key Trump border policies, particularly “Remain in Mexico,” that has led to an explosion of illegal immigration in this country. Since Biden took office in January 2021, more than 12 million illegal aliens have crossed into the U.S., according to new U.S. Customs and Border Protection Service data obtained by The Center Square.
“The majority of illegal border crossers are overwhelmingly single adults. In fiscal 2024 through May, they totaled over 1.35 million,” the publication reported. Many have been granted asylum and turned loose.
The consequences have been deadly.
‘She Was My Child’
“I want the nation, all around the world, to understand that she was a child. She was my child, she was my first born. She was a pre-teen that was slowly becoming this beautiful, beautiful young lady. And she was going so far. She had admiration of dreams and aspiring goals that she wanted to do in life. She was going to make it. She was going. She was going to do things,” Alexis Nungaray, whose 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn Nungara, was reportedly brutalized and murdered by illegal immigrants from Venezuela, told Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity. One of the alleged murderers was reportedly wearing a monitor at the time of the attack.
“And these men, these illegal men, took that opportunity from my daughter, from our family of watching her become this amazing person,” the grieving mother said. “So now with her voice being ripped away from her, I am going to be her voice and stand strong and try to make a difference in this world because this has got to stop. We have to stop burying our kids. This is not right. We have to have more reinforcement when it comes to letting people in. This is not OK.”
Then there’s Rachel Morin. The mother of five was raped and murdered, allegedly by a 23-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador while she was jogging.
“These killers are coming into our country. They are raping and killing women. It’s a terrible thing,” Trump said during the debate.
“That’s simply not true. There’s no data to support what he said. Once again, he’s exaggerating. He’s lying,” Biden shot back.
Who’s lying?
The guy without the endorsement.
