Biden’s Department of Defense Requests $114.7 Million in Taxpayer Funding for ‘Diversity and Inclusion Activities’
Another Shocking Priority: Biden’s Department of Defense Requests $114.7 Million for ‘Diversity and Inclusion Activities’
Prepare to be infuriated by the latest news about the Biden administration’s questionable priorities. While the world teeters on the brink of potential conflict, with two wars to fund and Iran posing a threat, the Department of Defense has made a jaw-dropping request for $114 million from the government.
But hold on, this massive sum of money won’t be used for ammunition or safety equipment to protect America’s finest. No, it’s earmarked for diversity initiatives.
According to a report by Fox News, the Department of Defense is seeking this staggering amount in its fiscal year 2024 budget proposal to fund diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programs across the military departments. This is the largest request of its kind to date.
The funds will be allocated to the DOD’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. The goal is to further integrate DEIA values and considerations into the DOD’s operations and mission execution, as outlined in their Strategic Management Plan.
What’s even more astonishing is that this request follows previous allocations of $68 million and $86.5 million for DEIA programs in fiscal years 2022 and 2023, respectively.
The DOD justifies this funding by stating that it will be used to “invest in programs and initiatives aimed at furthering DEIA, and incorporating DEIA values, objectives, and considerations in how we do business and execute our missions.” But is this really the best use of taxpayer money?
It seems that the Biden administration is more concerned with making minorities feel “included” and “considered” than ensuring their safety and protection.
Meanwhile, as the DOD seeks to increase funding for DEIA, it continues to face intense scrutiny over its financial management. For the sixth consecutive year, the Pentagon has failed its annual audit, with auditors unable to account for half of its claimed assets.

Amidst all this, Iranian-backed militants have launched a staggering 66 attacks on bases and facilities housing U.S. personnel since October 7, resulting in minor injuries to around 60 American personnel. In response, U.S. forces have retaliated four times, but there are concerns that further retaliation could escalate the violence and trigger more deadly attacks.
One can’t help but wonder if the DOD is more worried about maintaining an ”inclusive” atmosphere than effectively protecting our nation.
That’s a lot of drag story time.

It’s clear that ideological visions of equity do not defeat our enemies. And having enough ”gender diversity” on our carrier crafts won’t replenish the depleted stockpiles of munitions left behind in Afghanistan.
The Pentagon’s misplaced priorities are diverting $114 million from genuine defense needs at a time when we are already spending exorbitant amounts on conflicts overseas. This is making us a laughing stock among countries that seek to destroy us.
Ironically, when it comes to protecting our nation, it seems that we are our own biggest enemy.
