Biden’s DOJ Child Sex Trafficking Office website now shorter, vital information missing.

The Biden Administration’s Department of Justice Removes Crucial Information on Child Sex Trafficking

The Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) website, which provides information on the dangers of child sex trafficking, has recently undergone significant changes. However, these changes raise concerns about the politicization of the department and its commitment to addressing this critical issue.

Previously, the DOJ’s website contained detailed information on what the public should look for in identifying child sex trafficking. Unfortunately, most of this original text has been deleted, leaving many to question whether this was done to protect the embattled pro-LGBT White House and its failed border policies.

According to an archive of the page, the DOJ previously warned about international sex trafficking rings that exploit children by using the border. One section specifically addressed “International Sex Trafficking of Minors,” highlighting the recruitment and transfer of children across international borders for sexual exploitation.

“The traffickers can be individuals working alone, organized crime groups, enterprises, or networks of criminals working together to traffic children into prostitution across country lines.”

The DOJ also reported that once missing and exploited children enter the country illegally, they often remain unfound and are afraid to come forward. However, these crucial excerpts on the international slave trade and other related topics are now missing from the website.

One possible explanation for the removal of this information is the Biden administration’s lax approach to border security. With an open border policy in place, it is concerning that federal law enforcement would feel the need to erase such vital information.

Additionally, there are excerpts missing that could be interpreted as pointing towards the LGBT community. The previous version of the DOJ’s website warned about predators who target vulnerable children, including those who may be confused about their sexuality or gender identity.

“Offenders of this crime who are commonly referred to as traffickers, or pimps, target vulnerable children and gain control over them using a variety of manipulative methods. Victims frequently fall prey to traffickers who lure them in with an offer of food, clothes, attention, friendship, love, and a seemingly safe place to sleep.”

These warnings are particularly relevant considering that organizations supporting LGBTQ+ youth often report high rates of homelessness and ostracization. It is crucial to acknowledge the potential vulnerability of these young people and the risks they may face.

Unfortunately, the DOJ’s website no longer includes information about predators who alter the physical appearance of their victims, which is a common tactic used in child sex trafficking. This omission is concerning, especially given the current climate where children are being encouraged to undergo life-altering surgeries.

It is always better to have more information about the trafficking of human beings, especially when it comes to protecting children. However, for reasons that have not been publicly addressed, the DOJ has significantly reduced the amount of information available on its website, cutting it down from over 1,300 words to only 400.

Furthermore, the DOJ removed a quote from 2011 by then-Deputy Attorney General James Cole, which highlighted the vulnerability of certain children to commercial sexual exploitation.

“Some of our most vulnerable children also face the threat of being victimized by commercial sexual exploitation. Runaways, throwaways, sexual assault victims, and neglected children can be recruited into a violent life of forced prostitution.”

Given the politicized nature of federal law enforcement under the Biden administration, it is reasonable to assume that the removal of this information was politically motivated and aimed at disregarding inconvenient victims.

The actions of the Biden administration and its Department of Justice raise serious concerns about their commitment to combating child sex trafficking. The removal of critical information from the website is a disheartening development, and it is clear that political considerations may be prioritized over the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
