Biden’s new dog injured Secret Service agent, bit 6 more: Report.
The Biden White House’s Biting-Dog Problem
President Joe Biden’s German shepherd, Commander, has become quite the headline-maker. Secret Service emails have revealed that Commander bit seven people over a span of four months last year, even sending one Secret Service officer to the hospital.
According to the New York Post, these biting incidents involving Commander were kept under wraps at the time. The White House has remained silent on the matter.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time a Biden German shepherd has caused trouble. Major, another German shepherd adopted by Biden, was banned from the White House in 2021 after a series of biting incidents. Major was subsequently given to family friends.
The incidents involving Commander only came to light after Judicial Watch obtained emails through a Freedom of Information Act request.
A Special Kind of Craziness and Corruption
Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch, expressed his shock and concern over the situation, stating, “This is a special sort of craziness and corruption where a president would allow his dog to repeatedly attack and bite Secret Service and White House personnel. And rather than protect its agents, the Secret Service tried to illegally hide documents about the abuse of its agents and officers by the Biden family.”

The emails published on the website provide chilling accounts of the dog’s aggressive behavior. In one email, a Secret Service agent describes a harrowing encounter with Commander and First Lady Jill Biden, expressing concern that an attack is imminent.
Another email confirms that the fears became a reality when Commander bit a Uniformed Division officer, resulting in the officer being treated at a hospital.
These incidents have left victims in pain and frustration. One Uniformed Division officer expressed their disbelief, stating, “What a joke - if it wasn’t their dog, he would already have been put down – freaking clown needs a muzzle.”
Commander joined the Biden family as a puppy in December 2021, following the loss of their beloved German shepherd, Champ, earlier that year, as reported by NBC.
This latest development with Commander adds to the list of embarrassing episodes during the Biden presidency. A book about the Biden White House revealed that Biden himself doubted the Secret Service’s accounts of Major’s biting behavior, suggesting that someone was lying about the incident.
It seems that the Biden White House has yet to find a solution to their biting-dog problem.
