Biden’s Gun Control Post Meets Hunter Roadblock
President Biden Calls for Gun Control Legislation to Protect Children in Schools
In a recent post on X, President Joe Biden passionately advocated for more extensive gun control legislation, with the aim of ensuring the safety of children in schools. However, his plea was met with criticism due to his own son’s legal troubles concerning firearms.
Biden’s post urged Congress to take action, emphasizing the importance of protecting our children and educators. He stated, “Yes, there’s a right to bear arms. But our kids and educators also have the right to live freely without fearing for their lives in a classroom. It’s time for Congress to pass commonsense gun safety laws.”
To emphasize his point, Biden included a graphic featuring a quote from himself: “We all want our kids to have the freedom to learn to read and write instead of learning how to duck and cover in a classroom.”

However, nationally-syndicated radio host Dana Loesch wasted no time in redirecting the focus to Hunter Biden, the president’s embattled son. Hunter Biden has faced scrutiny for potentially making a false statement on a federal form while purchasing a firearm.
Due to this alleged false statement, Hunter Biden was illegally in possession of the weapon, which was later thrown into a dumpster by Hallie Biden in 2018. To make matters worse, the dumpster happened to be located just a short distance away from a high school.
“Imagine if a criminal got ahold of the illegally purchased gun that your son’s sister-in-law-lover dumped in a trash can directly across the street from a school,” remarked Loesch.

Another individual pointed out, “Didn’t Hunter violate a ‘common sense gun safety law’? The correct answer is YES.”
Furthermore, critics argued that Congress has already passed “commonsense gun safety laws,” but they are not being effectively enforced by Democrats. They suggested that children would be better protected if Biden focused on ensuring compliance with existing laws. Additionally, they called for the promotion of school defense measures similar to those employed to protect politicians.
“Physician, heal thyself,” commented Jorge Bonilla, sharing a partially redacted photo of Hunter Biden’s federal form.
