‘Big, Historical Things’: Orlando Bloom Says Katy Perry Will Be Singing At King Charles III Coronation
Orlando Bloom Can’t Stop Gushing About Fiancée Katy Perry’s Upcoming Performance
Hollywood star Orlando Bloom is head over heels for his fiancée, singer Katy Perry, and he couldn’t help but brag about her upcoming performance at King Charles III’s coronation celebration.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at Sony Pictures’ presentation at CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas, the 46-year-old actor said, “My girl’s gonna be singing, that’s fun. I’m not gonna make it there, sadly, but she’s representing which is cool.”
Bloom went on to praise Perry’s ability to perform at “big, historical things,” including singing for the president. “Who’s left?” he quipped. “Maybe the pope. So yeah, it’s exciting.”

Katy Perry’s Royal Connection
Perry, who is set to perform at King Charles III’s coronation celebration, spoke earlier in the week about her connection to the royal family. “I met His Majesty-to-be a few years ago and he named me as one of the ambassadors to his organization, The British Asian Trust, which is an organization that helps fight to end child trafficking,” she said. “So, I’m also an ambassador for UNICEF, and it really aligned with my values.”
Bloom and Perry got engaged in 2019 after three years together and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Daisy Dove, in August 2020. The couple had planned to tie the knot in Japan the following year, but the pandemic put their plans on hold, as Page Six noted.
Bloom was previously married to model Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares a son, while Perry was married to Russell Brand for two years.
