Glenn Beck, Blaze Media Founder, claims Apple removed his podcast from iTunes without notice.
Apple Removes Glenn Beck’s Program from iTunes
Big tech streaming platform Apple made the surprising move of removing Blaze Media founder Glenn Beck’s popular American culture and politics program from its iTunes platform on Wednesday. The exact reason for the removal remains unknown.
Beck, known for being one of the first conservatives to create alternative media outside of the mainstream, took to video to share the news with his followers. He revealed that he had received an email from the Apple Podcasts Team stating that “The Glenn Beck Program” had been removed due to an issue that needed to be resolved before it could be available on Apple Podcasts.
Expressing his frustration, Beck tweeted, “I have a feeling these ‘issues’ with @Apple and others will keep happening the more we’re over the target.” The email he received from Apple reportedly provided no additional details, only reiterating that his program had been removed.
“Well, we got that one, dummy,” Beck exclaimed. “I mean — I cannot imagine what they are — what they’re basing this one on. I mean, have we even had strikes? Nothing, right? This is crazy. Crazy.”
Beck and his team were preparing for another episode of his program when they discovered that they may have become another example of big tech companies censoring conservative content.
“This is absolutely freedom of speech,” Beck asserted. “There’s nothing that we have said that would warrant any removal.”
The next episode of Beck’s program, titled “Trump vs. Biden: Which is the Crime Family?”, delves into former President Donald Trump’s fourth indictment and its potential impact on freedom of speech. It also compares the evidence revealed regarding Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden.

“Maybe that’s what it is… maybe they’re just smoked because, you know, I’m pointing out the real crime family tonight,” Beck speculated.
While Apple has not yet issued a formal response, Beck gave the company the benefit of the doubt, suggesting that it could be a mere “glitch.”
“But it’s amazing how we have to have a whole bunch of people point out the glitch before the glitch is found, and it’s put back,” Beck remarked. “Man, this is — this is huge.”
Blaze Media, Beck’s media company, did not respond to requests for comment. However, others in the industry voiced their concerns. BlazeTV host Steve Deace tweeted, “Oh my. Even if it is a glitch, these ‘glitches’ only seem to go one way.” Daily Wire Co-Founder Jeremy Boreing urged Apple to rectify the situation, stating, ”This must be a mistake. Glenn is one of the best men in the business and perhaps the greatest living broadcaster. Make this right.”
While Beck’s podcast remains available on his BlazeTV service, as well as other streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Stitcher, the removal from Apple’s iTunes platform raises concerns about the potential censorship of conservative voices.
