‘BLM at School’ shares toolkit to educate US kids on Israel’s negative global perception.

Children in classrooms that use a curriculum with the Black Lives Matter stamp of approval will be taught that Israel is the evil force in ⁤the Middle East.

BLM‌ at School shared a “Teaching Palestine” toolkit on Tuesday.

The wave of death triggered by Hamas when terrorists massacred more than 1,400 people in southern ⁣Israel this ‍month “is the direct ⁤result ⁤of decades of Israeli settler colonialism, land dispossession, occupation, ⁢blockade, apartheid,⁢ and attempted genocide of millions of Palestinians,” ‌the BLM at School ‌proclaimed.

“Palestinians are ⁢reminding us that decolonization is not a metaphor or abstraction,⁣ but ⁤requires real, daily struggle,” it said.

“The ongoing fight to #TeachTruth ⁣in the U.S. must include Palestinian existence, resistance, culture, global contributions, and the ongoing struggle to realize a free Palestine,” BLM at school said.

“It also must directly name the ways that U.S. imperialism⁣ has fueled ⁢and supported apartheid and war crimes,” it said.

The toolkit includes⁣ links to a number of pro-Palestinian websites.

The first resource listed is Decolonize Palestine,⁣ a website run⁣ by Palestinians in⁤ Ramallah. Among other things, it warns of “the myriad ways in which Israel seeks to improve its dismal ⁢world ⁢image.”

It also says apartheid is too kind a word ⁤to⁢ describe Israel.

“The Palestinian cause is a cause for decolonization and freedom, not for acquiring privileges in a colonial state.⁢ Consequently, we argue ⁣that the term Apartheid is⁢ not a sufficient descriptor for the status quo,⁣ but merely one ‌of the many crimes committed ‌by Israel,” the site says.

“After all, even if Israel stopped‍ practicing ⁢Apartheid, without true decolonization and‌ the right ⁤of return, the Palestinian ⁣struggle for liberation would be incomplete,” it says.

The site is in line with other Black Lives Matter commentary on⁢ Israel’s response to the terrorist attack.

In ‌an Instagram post, BLM leader Melina Abdullah called Israel’s⁢ response “a blatant attempt to collectively‌ punish the‌ Palestinian people for exercising their right to resist their oppressors as they march toward liberation.”

Black Lives Matter and ⁣Hamas-supporting groups are linked by an “oppressed-oppressor narrative that helps them destroy⁤ society,” the Heritage Foundation’s Mike Gonzalez said,⁢ according to The Washington Free Beacon.

“They see Israel as a kind‍ of mini-me of the ⁢West and America. They hate ‍the West. Jerusalem is one of the founding⁤ blocks of Western thought, so if they’re going to hate the West they have⁢ to hate ⁤Israel,” Gonzalez said.

A news release last year from Parents Defending Education said BLM at School was used by 12 school districts across the nation.

⁤ What potential impact could⁢ Abdullah’s⁣ post with a Palestinian flag and anti-Israeli caption have on children‌ in classrooms?

Abdullah posted ⁢an⁤ image of a Palestinian flag with the caption, “Free Palestine. ‌End Israeli ‍Occupation Now!”

These recent actions and statements from⁢ BLM‌ at School have sparked concern among many who fear the influence of this curriculum on impressionable children in classrooms. The endorsement⁤ of a curriculum that promotes a biased and one-sided view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict raises questions about ⁣the ‍objectivity and‍ accuracy of the education children will receive.

The Black Lives⁢ Matter movement has undoubtedly played an important role in raising awareness about systemic racism and advocating ⁤for social justice. However, it ⁣is crucial to separate the ‌legitimate goals of the movement⁢ from the potential biases⁢ and misinformation that may be ⁤present⁤ in affiliated curricula.

By ‌teaching ⁣children that ⁣Israel is‍ the ⁤evil force in the ‍Middle ‍East, BLM‌ at ‌School is oversimplifying a complex and nuanced ‍geopolitical conflict. The Israeli-Palestinian‍ conflict ⁢is one that⁣ has deep ⁤historical, cultural, ⁤and religious roots, ‌and reducing ⁤it to⁤ a binary narrative of good versus evil is both ⁤misleading and harmful.

Furthermore, ‌the ‌assertion that Israeli settler colonialism ⁤and ‌occupation are the sole ⁢causes of the ongoing conflict disregards the complex history‍ and ‌multiple actors involved. It fails to acknowledge‌ the actions and⁣ motivations ‍of Palestinian militant groups such as Hamas, which has been recognized by several ⁢countries, including the United States, as a terrorist organization.

It is⁢ also important to ‌note that the teaching⁣ of controversial political issues in classrooms should be handled with care.⁣ While it is essential to encourage critical⁢ thinking and ⁤open⁣ discussion, presenting biased and one-sided ⁢information⁢ as fact can prevent students from developing ⁢a well-rounded understanding and forming independent opinions.

Education⁢ plays a crucial role in shaping the minds and worldview of future generations. It is therefore imperative that we provide ⁢children ⁢with accurate and unbiased information, enabling them to critically analyze complex issues and⁤ come to their own informed conclusions.

While teaching about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict⁢ is ‌not inherently problematic, it must be done⁤ in a fair and ‌balanced manner, presenting⁢ multiple ⁢perspectives and encouraging open dialogue. Classroom curricula should adhere to scholarly standards and ensure that ⁣students are ⁣exposed to a diverse⁢ range of viewpoints.

The inclusion of a curriculum endorsed⁢ by BLM‌ ⁣at School,‍ which promotes a singular and⁢ politically‌ biased⁣ perspective on the ‌Israeli-Palestinian conflict, raises concerns about the objectivity and integrity of⁢ the education children will receive. It is crucial⁣ that⁢ educators and ⁢parents remain vigilant‍ in examining⁢ the content and sources of classroom materials ‍to ensure that children⁢ are receiving a comprehensive and unbiased education.

Ultimately, it is our responsibility ‍to equip children‌ with the tools they ⁤need ⁤to navigate ⁣an increasingly complex and interconnected world. This ⁢includes fostering critical ‍thinking, encouraging‍ open dialogue, and providing‌ them with⁢ accurate and ⁣unbiased information. Only‌ through a balanced ‍and⁣ nuanced education can we⁢ hope⁣ to raise informed and empathetic citizens who can contribute positively to society.
