Sen. ⁤John Barrasso (R-WY) announced the heartbreaking news of his wife Bobbi’s⁢ passing on Thursday. After a courageous two-year fight against Glioblastoma brain cancer, Bobbi peacefully passed away in Casper, Wyoming.

“After a courageous battle with cancer, Bobbi‍ is​ now at peace and at home with the Lord. ⁣In addition to ⁢being a devoted wife ‍and mother, ⁢Bobbi was a⁣ leader, fierce advocate for‍ Wyoming,⁤ and friend to everyone she met. We miss her‌ dearly,” Barasso said in ​a statement.

John​ and Bobbi Barrasso’s love⁢ story began 25 years ago at a ⁣Republican convention, and they tied the knot ⁣on ⁣New Year’s Day in 2008. Bobbi, a breast⁣ cancer survivor,⁣ had previously worked‌ in various Wyoming Senate offices, including her husband’s.

Bobbi⁣ was also actively involved⁢ in the Susan G. ‌Komen Race for the Cure and Komen Wyoming​ events, demonstrating her dedication ‌to fighting breast‌ cancer.
