Body cam footage reveals school officials calling police on attendees of ‘Trump-like’ board meeting.

Body Cam Footage Exposes School Officials Calling ⁣Police on ‘Trumpish’ Board Meeting Attendees

Investigative journalist James O’Keefe has obtained body cam footage that reveals a disturbing collaboration between⁣ police and New Jersey school officials. The officials had complained about citizens they deemed “Trumpish” at a board meeting.

O’Keefe, CEO of the O’Keefe Media Group and ‍the former face of ‌Project Veritas, and his associates attended the Aug. 8 meeting undercover, secretly recording the entire event.

During the meeting,‌ Livingston Public⁤ Schools officials called the police because they found the ⁤group unfamiliar and “a little scary.”

The body cam footage, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, begins with LPS official Susan Burman informing the responding officer that the group was likely there ⁣to contest a new “equity law” and LGBT ⁤curriculum.

Although Burman acknowledged that the group had not caused any trouble, LPS official Toni McLaughlin described them as “different-looking”‌ and “Trumpish,” suggesting ‌that they didn’t belong in Livingston.

It was later revealed that the men were associated with the O’Keefe Media Group.

The responding officer, Pancione, suggested that the group might be similar to antifa,⁣ to which McLaughlin agreed.

Interestingly, Burman‌ volunteered to record the‌ license plates of the attendees’ cars in the parking lot, allowing Pancione to scan them.

After O’Keefe ⁢and his associates left the building, Pancione ⁣went outside to ensure they ‌were leaving the premises. O’Keefe took the opportunity to identify himself as‍ a journalist and‍ inquire about who had called the police.

Pancione responded by stating that he ‌didn’t know who⁤ had made the call. However, upon returning inside, Pancione began bad-mouthing O’Keefe, calling‍ him a “rabble-rouser” and suggesting he “get a life.”

He further questioned O’Keefe’s decision to⁣ disrupt a small town meeting, advising him to take his concerns to higher authorities such as the governor or the state ⁢board of education.

McLaughlin and Burman chimed in, claiming that only Livingston⁣ residents or ⁣individuals with a connection to the town could ‌attend school board meetings.

In response, ⁤O’Keefe highlighted that New Jersey state law guarantees public attendance at all school board meetings, regardless of residency.

O’Keefe has also spoken with Livingston‌ Police Capt. Thomas Smith, who assured him that Pancione’s conversation with the ‍school board officials would be reviewed for deficiencies and addressed through the Internal Affairs process.
