Boebert: Cocaine Not First Drug Found at White House with Biden.
Colorado GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert revealed an intriguing detail on Thursday about drug discoveries at the White House during the Biden administration, according to a new report.
Boebert disclosed that marijuana had been found at the White House twice since 2022, as reported by Just the News. This revelation comes after the Secret Service closed the investigation into the cocaine found at the White House without identifying any suspects.
“This is the third time that drugs have been found on the White House property since 2022, and we did not even hear about the marijuana,” she said. “I certainly did not hear about the marijuana that was found in 2022, two times, and now there’s cocaine on the property. So everything they do is to move along to the next story. They know there will be another Biden crime crisis.”
NBC News reported that uniformed division officers had previously discovered marijuana in possession of two White House guests. The quantity of marijuana was reportedly within Washington, D.C.’s legal limit, but the visitors were still instructed not to bring marijuana back to the White House.
Boebert was among the lawmakers who attended a closed meeting with the Secret Service to discuss the cocaine investigation after House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-KY) requested a briefing on the incident.
“I was informed in this morning’s SCIF meeting that the Cocaine Culprit investigation will be terminated with more than 500 potential perpetrators remaining,” Boebert tweeted. “We cannot allow this to happen. The American people deserve to know who smuggled cocaine into the White House!”
The Secret Service was unable to determine a suspect after reviewing surveillance footage and visitor logs. Both the surveillance footage and forensic evidence failed to provide any leads.
According to a source who spoke with NBC, the leading theory is that someone on a tour left the illicit substance at the White House.
The Secret Service’s explanation left many Republicans unsatisfied, with some suggesting a cover-up.
“Just left the most ridiculous meeting of all time with the Secret Service on the cocaine that was found in the White House,” Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett said after the briefing. “It turns out – they don’t know who did it. The investigation is going to be over at the end of the week, and they’re not going to find out who did it. And that’s basically it.”
“Another cover-up,” he added. “You know, it’s the most secure building in the entire world. Nobody, not even the press, goes in there without them knowing.”
Boebert claimed that the investigation yielded no results “because everything in this administration is about covering up for the Biden crime family.”
The discovery prompted widespread speculation that the cocaine could have belonged to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s troubled son who has battled drug addiction in the past and has recently been seen at the White House. The younger Biden, who was kicked out of the Navy Reserves in 2014 after testing positive for cocaine, is seen smoking crack and buying cocaine in numerous images and messages on the laptop he abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop.
