Boeing close to finalizing 737 MAX deal with Japan Airlines – Bloomberg News
(Reuters) –Boeing Co closes to a Japan Airlines Co. (JAL), order <9201.T> Bloomberg News reports that the airline has ordered at least 20 737 MAX airplanes.
According to reports, this order would likely consist of a mixture of Boeing’s smaller MAX 8 planes and its larger MAX 10 aircraft.
JAL also had discussions with Airbus SE. The report added that JAL may consider going with Boeing.
JAL spokespersons stated that the company was still in negotiation and declined to give more information.
Boeing has not yet responded to Reuters’s request for comment.
